Fire bore me
Death cannot keep me
Ice remade me
I am Free.
I sank deep in grass
Flowers around me swaying
The world was turning.
The mountain praises You with its height
The valley worships You with its river
At the glory of Your rugged cliffs
And at the soaring eagle, I shiver

Your forests shout Your name
The rocks cry out in song
If the smallest sparrow knows You reign
Then why did I fight that for so long?

The pine clings to the steep mountainside
And the hawk feels secure in flight
So Lord, in my fear and doubt,
Please be my shelter tonight.

I heard you were blue:
When I red the white on your face
I knew it was true
Let the light shine over you
Don't stand there in the dark
Embrace the warmth around you
It began with just one spark.

Leave the night behind you
Don't let it grab ahold
Of all the dreams that lift you
And make you strong and bold.

Love the bright, bright sunlight
It's there to give you hope
Maybe the world's not all right
But life's brighter in this scope.
There was a story
I wanted to hide
But escaped no matter
How hard I tried.

I had a scar
I wanted to fade
But it stuck out ugly
And always disobeyed.

There was a memory
I wanted to forget
But the truth was clear then
And I always thought of it.

There was a future
I wanted to be real
But hopeless days before me
Were all that I could feel.

I came across a Healer
He ripped me open wide
And touched all of my hurting parts
And made me new inside.

Now I know a Savior
Who knows you like his own
He can change you just like me
And melt your heart of stone.
2 Corinthians 5:17
"This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!"
If love was a feeling
It would be everywhere
The sun and trees and grass and bees
There would always be love in the air.

If love was convenient
Then it would be easy to love
Easy to love, easy to leave
Life would never get rough

If love was just effortless
Then it would not mean much
You wouldn't try hard, it wouldn't be part
Of the life-changing motion of love.

If love wasn't worthwhile
Hatred would be much more common
Rewards of kindness would be lost behind us
And no one would care if you loved them.

If love wasn't painful
Then it could never grow you
You couldn't be cut to get out of your rut
And nothing would ever caution you.

If love wasn't so wonderful
It would be something else
Like apathy or ignorance, distrust or pride,
Love wouldn't be worth it.

I tell you I've been busy
And sometimes I've been dizzy
Going somewhere constantly
Wandering unconsciously

Too tired to pretend
Just hope I'm near the end
Getting harder every day
To remember what to say

Every time I look
Every chance I took
Got me right back here to see
That You're right in front of me

All the times I hide
All the reasons why
Get me right back to the start
Take these pieces of my heart

I look like someone hurting
Others they are learning
Not to stand and stare at me
Not to ask me what they see

Burdens on my shoulders
I have lifted boulders
Nothing that I cannot do
When will I give in to You

Every time I look
Every chance I took
Got me right back here to see
That You're right in front of me

All the times I hide
All the reasons why
Get me right back to the start
Take these pieces of my heart

And I'm never going to get it right
Not in this life, not in this life
I'm never going to get it down
Not here tonight, no not tonight
And if I never really get this thing right
That is alright, that is alright
If I never really figure all of this out
Then it's just fine, yeah it's just fine

Every time I look
Every chance I took
Got me right back here to see
That You're right in front of me

All the times I hide
All the reasons why
Get me right back to the start
Take these pieces of my heart

Oh take these pieces of my heart
Take me right back to the start.
