Thought it would make me feel better,
Ended up making me feel worse.
Thought the pain would now be lesser,
Ended up more of a curse.
Thought the words would fade,
Ended up sharpening like blades.
Thought the cards had been laid,
Thought the final blow was made;
Thought my heart was already at ease,
Turns out I was never in peace.
Lengthy lines come out of the dormant,
Some intentional, some half-thought and made,
Some of it just plain,
Some of it just awry,
But all I wanted to say is, I'm sorry.
I've never cut out of my shell,
And I may never be able to be.
Depressed, Demoted, Oppressed,
I've never seen the world for myself:
The world I'm already living in.
I never meant to lash out,
I never meant to make you feel ******,
I never meant to tell you what things I should've never told anyone,
I never meant to compare our lives,
I never meant to upset you.
I never wanted your world to know who I am,
I'd understand if you wouldn't understand,
After all, we've never known each other.
And yet, I seem to feel you close to me;
Like you were beside me.
Now I've made a stupid decision and I don't know how to fix everything.
I have a thousand words to say to you,
But I feel like you wouldn't listen,
And that's fine.
This ain't poetry, this is an apology.
*I'm sorry.
Hi Jason, it's Nes.

I know we never know each other

If we wouldn't talk to each other again, at least read this

I don't know if you have a burden you've been carrying like I do, so I'm sorry I should've been more sensible

I wish I could've done something

Maybe this wasn't meant to be.
Maybe this was just a vivid
imagination of what could be.

I fell in love with the idea,
not the journey.

The trepidation in my heart consumed me.

if this was meant to be,
if the stars lined up
just right, for me this to be,
why is it a stone in my heart?

somehow I became the girl
who became addicted to
something she needs,
not wants.

What I wanted was to dance.
I wanted to paint the
colors of my life with
what I have.

But the stars and planets
are never stationary.
They kept moving,
and I was moving with them.
this was inspired by John Donne's A Valediction : Forbidden Mourning. Thank you for reading it :)

I'd love you like I love,
Summer,
And a warm breeze,
I'd love you the same way I love rusty old swings,

I'd love you like grass,
And  trees,
And love you like holding hands,
While we walk on the beach,
I'd love you like,
Entangled feet,
Under soft blankets,
With the tv casting shadows on your face,
While you laugh,
Oh God I would love to make you laugh,

I'd love you like thrift shops,
And old photographs,

I'd love you like summer nights,
On the roof,
Or in bed watching movies,

I'd love you like I always would,
Forever,
Never waver,
I'd love you like all these things,
Like warm coffee on cold fingers,
Or sunsets by the lake,

I'd love you day,
After day,

Like the ice skating rink,
I'd love you like, the song,
Temporary love,
By the brinks.

And I know I am young,
And you're miles away,
But there's a feeling here,
That's making me stay.

And I'd love you like this,
And i promise I would

Please let me darling,

I promise I could.

After a long time
With sadness and crying,
Finally the sun started
To shine again

The songs went
From sad to happy
And so did the mood,
Thoughts and feelings

A new love,
A new hope.
I am afraid,
But curious as well

Finally things seem
To make sense again
And it is impossible
To see how this ever can end

But with the experience
Earlier made I know
That even the best
Can turn into the worst

Hey, let's enjoy it
When I still can
This can be different
This can be good

Time loops

Trapped in a time loop
where all that happens is you
coming to me, kissing my feelings with your smile,
then crashing me
and leaving me there
with my naked hopes
hiding in the deepest grounds of my heart
again and again.

I am the prisoner of my own deathly wishes,
of the same repeating illusions,
and your voice in my head
is singing the same song on repeat
like a broken cassette
stuck in this old, rusty radio that is my mind.

I am trapped in a time loop
and all I do
is getting lost
somewhere on the paths of your soul
where my dreams get born
just so they can go to die.
Maybe some day we will dance
Holding hands in disbelief
As tears of joy
flow from our eyes
While the field of flowers
will cheer in salute
Maybe our eternity
will come to an end
And our day will come
to begin . . . just maybe

Just maybe I hope
beyond my dreams
Waiting for the one you love
