The Tinkerer
A million ways to die,
But to die without a smile,
Without a glint of light in the eyes.

Without a soul by your side,
Nor a love in your life.

Remnants, none to find
Descendants none,
The end of the line.

This is no way to die.

It is not death,
When there never was life.

Serendipity
A hidden beauty,
If only you look,
then you shall see.
The hidden gift, that you receive.
A beautiful seed, hidden underneath,
To one day grow into a beautiful *tree

Lost in the layers,
Lost in time.
The beauty you unintentionally find,
The beauty that is yours to keep
The beauty, unintended to seek,
The beauty you shall receive..

She is..

For the girl who doesn't know, but is the one reason for a good man, somewhere out there.

sad
but true
I have learned
to live
without
you
"I love you" she once said
But now they are just fading memories of you two laughing: in the couch or in the bed

"Forever" was another promise she could never keep
Now you can just sit down, remember and weep

"My love for you will never go away"
Too bad she decided not to stay

I think the point I'm trying to make is that you can write, sing or rhyme
But maybe, just maybe nothing lasts for all the time

sheridan
She battles her demons, day in, day out.
They don’t stay quiet, they scream and shout.
They tell her she’s ugly, they tell her she’s fat.
Her thighs are too big and her stomach’s not flat.
She starves herself but that’s not enough.
This desire to be thin has proven to be tough.
It’s making her miserable, it’s making her sad.
The quicker the weight loss, it won’t be as bad.
But the weight is staying and it won’t disappear.
She’s taking it to the extreme
And she’s making it clear
That she wants to be thin
And thin she will be.
But what you don’t know is that girl is me.

We stay up all night
to find words that rhyme.
We scribble. We write,
losing track of time.

We stare into space,
deep in thought.
From a child's fairy-tale
to the wars fought.

We can't stay still.
Our fingers, they itch.
With no path to follow,
in dreams we are rich.

We dance and fly
but crash to the floor.
We laugh and cry
with our emotions galore.

Smiling while judging,
we scribble. We write.
From petty love stories
to the furious fights.

Over incomplete lines,
we again lose sleep.
Muttering new words
as we silently weep.

We see the world
the way no one would.
We break the rules
the way no one could.

A new day begins
with all new themes.
"Which one to choose?"
Our minds scream.

We scribble. We write
with bees in our bonnets.
From epic ballads
to the melancholic sonnets.

With passion in our blood,
and a calloused hand,
we are poets.
Together we stand.

Seriously, what's wrong with you?

What happened to the man who did not let words phase him

Or be brought down by an insignificant slur?

The man who bottled everything

and wrapped that bottle with the toughest steel.

The man who saw the light at the end of every tunnel,

Who smiled at everyone he meets,

Who saw the best in every single person,

Who believed in chivalry and love at first sight

Is he still there?

Did that bottle break?

Or is not dating a woman killing you?

Do you miss her touch?

Do the words of people who don't know you get in you skin?

Why don't you listen to the ones that care?

Stand up,

Speak up,

And believe,

Those are the words you once stood for ever so vehemently

Open your eyes and gaze at all these questions

It's about time you answered them.

My body is present
Yet my mind is not
Off somewhere else
Out in the world
Anywhere I want
Free from the rules
And all the eyes
I am all alone
And truly alive
