I want to be a dog's growl:
  as rough as bark.
As I ruff and I bark
  until my throat bleeds,
down my tongue,
  and clots, choking me.
Strangling my anger.

I want to bite God's hand
and taste the scars and lines.
  I want to run alongside
the downfall of man
  like I'm chasing cars.
Waiting to be run over.

I want to be castrated,
  neutered,
so I can fall in line,
  so I can conform,
so I can be me in a sea
  of nobody else.

I want to be beaten
  with a chain
attached to my neck.
I want to be on t-v.
I want to be saved.
  I want to betray trust.

Generic. Generic.
I want to be like this poem:
  generic, you martyr.
You genocidal ****.
  You deadbeat.
You racist.
  You sexist.
You intolerant ****.
  I want to chew off
my trapped leg.
  I want to be a dog's growl.
AWESOME

Excited about our vacation
We knew it was going to cost some
But since it was to Hawaii
We were sure it would be awesome.

We went whale watching
And guess what, we saw some.
They were leaping up high
Out of the water, it was awesome.

The captain shared his tobacco.
I had always wanted to chaw some.
I hated the taste, but he didn’t.
He really believed it was awesome.

We went through a garden
And looked at each blossom.
They were beautiful to see
The colors were pretty awesome.

And the hospitality staff too,
We didn’t even have to boss ‘em.
They anticipated our wishes
They were all totally awesome.

We ended the trip with snacks
And we couldn’t wait to go nosh ‘em.
They call snacks pupus in Hawaii.
What can I say? Sort of awesome!

Blazing stars across the sky
Night’s come alive with celebrations
Gorgeous display across the dark
So many things do fade away
But sheer brilliance gives hope
Many dark corridors will be lit up
The constellations know the secret
Be my reflection,
Understand my worries,
Read my thoughts,
See my vision,
Walk my walk,
Feel my tears,
Mimic my smile,
Hear my stomach growl,
Listen to grunts,
******* wants,
Drown my sorrows,
Forgive my condolences,
Help my thirst,
Hold my hand,
Bathe my skin,
Fight my battles,
Spark my curiosity,
But more than that, be you!
