Healer
I could never judge you on your absence.
For that glimpse of rarest blood moon was sufficient for a blind like me.

Old friends fade like sun-filled days
And last no longer than the rain
Which turns to winters waste above

And yet
I grow like trees
Even when I don't want to

And see them go below
To death
Where these memories and away friends go

Into the un, "I do not know" them
This is me, saying goodbye to a friend who passed away. And also getting rid of some toxic memories.

RIP Alex.

My Dear Poet
I’m tired of collecting the tears
that the sun never dries
I’m resolved to chasing the wind
let the breeze blow my eyes
I’ve decided to fan my fears
and live while I’m alive
breathe as much fire
and burn till I die

My Dear Poet
I can never promise

             to never hurt you

but I can vow

             to never leave you

and live my life in such a way

              that you will hurt

to not stay

My Dear Poet
The things held up
and dangle down
are the things that often
hang around
don’t tie high your hopes
in bids and byes
let loose the noose
and find your ground

fog on window panes blurs
the trees and faint sunlight
claws streaks down the
dilapidated couch where you
became a fixture of worship:
nights spent praying on knees
bruising for forgiveness. now
home is the potted plant
poking its head up towards
the sun; greeting him with
grace
