Hello,
is this thing on?
(tap, tap, tap)
Testing 1, 2, 3 . . .
Hello . . . Hello Poetry,
is this thing working?

Pressing patterns patiently protecting priceless pillowed pleats
Proudly pasting photographs of proper preening parakeets
Pushing plastic pinwheels past the park where purple peacocks played
Panoramic pixies practice prancing down the promenade

Paying people for providing pizzas to pentathelets
Picking peppers privately, politely pleasing prom petites
Painting pulpits perfectly in places preaching pastors prayed
Posting pretty poetry on paper pages on parade
Just having some fun on a Friday.

What rhymes with orange,
well I was surprised
I checked all around
till it bothered my eyes
Scanned every page
of the books I could find
Still there was nothing,
it boggled the mind
Went to the internet,
searched for a site
Still no words rhymed,
it just didn’t seem right
Finally I gave up,
it’s all I could do
Except write a poem
with the color blue
I’m sure most of you know this by now, but it is said that “orange” is the only word in the English language that has no word that rhymes with it.

axr
{Trigger warning; self injury}

it's time
for me to end it all
it's time to cut off the parts which meant nothing at all
i will force myself
to go down a dark hole,
visit my past and feel the pain all over again.
i will watch myself
struggle to breathe
as my demons **** me
as my fears choke me
as another sword pierces my heart
as i destroy everything right from the start.
a part of a series i'm starting

My whispered wish
sweet love divine,
is your soft lips
caressing mine

And if per chance
my wish comes true,
so will my dreams
when kissing you
drip. drop. drip. drop.
hear the pain?
dancing under the purple rain

'cause the rain is the bravest of all
for it is not afraid to fall
and you're all deaf
'cause you don't hear
the hurt of
-
and you're all blind
'cause you don't see
the color of
-
the falling purple rain

PaperclipPoems
My insides turn to ice and a sheet of black slate cover my eyes the longer I go without you.
You melt off the hatred that consumes me and I become an angel within your arms.

I took a train
to ease the pain
it dropped me off
at 4th and Main
But then I guess
I can’t complain
it’s better than dropping
from a plane
For if I did
I must explain
right where I stand
would be a stain
and there a while
it would remain

unless of course

it rained
Just messing around
