 Apr 2015 Marshie The Mellow
Pax
I’m tired of carrying you at my back.
Keeping you well fed
to the point I starved myself.

Did you often wonder what I feel?
Have you ever thought of what I really want?
Have you ever seen me without my deep façade?

The difficulty I'm facing is well kept.
Time after time it wears me down.
To the point of exhaustion.
When can I stop and have a little break?
My mind is full and my heart is heavy.

These questions will remain lost in the sea of my thoughts.

a very heavy old fragment, still hung around, carrying, starving, well someday in someway I'll be able to let you go....
They have
                      Taken my
                      Lord,
                      Where has
                      He been
                      Taken?
                      The tomb
                      Is empty,
                     Now we
                     Are quite
                     Shaken
He lives! He is risen! Glory to God in the highest! Blessed is he who comes in the name of The Lord! Redemption is here for us all. He died so we may live!
                     For our
                     Lord was
                     Not stolen
                     But risen
                     From his
                     Mortal
                     Grave
                     He has
                    Arrived to
                    The place
                    We to will
                    One day call
                    Our home,
                    The place
                    Where our
                    Heavenly
                    Father dwells.
                    Prepare, one
                   And all! He
                   Waits for
                   Us to come
                   To be with
                   Him too
Have a blessed Easter, everyone! Do me a favor; take a moment to sit down and think about the moral  that occurred on this day two thousand years ago. To think that we are each loved enough to be died for is incredible on it's own. Better yet, our savior conquered death,
The one thing none of us can escape. Even though this is my 17th Easter, the thought of Jesus rising from his grave amazes me. Be merry today! Life is great, but eternal life rocks!
Round and round and round
We go
When we stop
No one knows
Hurry hurry,
Claim your spot
Unless you want
To be called out
The song is playing
A love tune
Ain't it ironic
When you're alone?
You see the one
You want to claim
It beckons you
And calls your name
Closer, closer
You come to it
Euphoria will
Be experienced
The senses heighten
The song will end
Could it be true
That you will win?
A sudden pause
The music stops
You weren't ready
Your jaw drops
You pause to blink
It becomes blatant
That all the good ones
have been taken
I've been reflecting for a while on the whole "single and ready to mingle" thing. Personally, whenever I like someone, I always find out they have an SO after I've already fallen for them. So that was my inspiration for this piece. Hope you like it!
(Legend: Girl-Italics    Boy-Bold)

As the hot summer wind blows past her face,
There's this warm feeling slowly and gradually churning,
Building and showing no end,
Is this like? Is this hate?

Do I like or hate you? I don't know,
Prob'ly hate.
It's love, can't be anything else,
I love you!

I can't tell if it's love or hate,
I won't stop
Love or Hate?

I can't get his words out of my head!
Love or hate? somewhere in between?
Rather it's closer to both.

Isn't the answer obvious?
Yes, my vision is perfect,
You and me can make a family. Eh!? Family!?

But wait, what, why, how? I'm only fourteen!?
These dating stuff and lov- I love you! Listen to me!
I can't drop my guard.
I'll drown you with love!

I want to try falling in love,
Lightly, softly, like a ball of fur.
While everything's boring around me.
I'll smile.

The two stars will combine and form... A Supernova!
And the world will spring alive!

Is this love? or is it hate?
I don't know...
I hate you, or maybe I love you?

Here! Eh!?

It's a Topaz! The one you wanted on the way home.
While you were staring at it I was watching you,
Our houses are on opposite ends, but let's not worry about that.

But I don't really like his type but...
Eh? did I just hesitate?
It must be because he suddenly did something nice.
I start to feel this sudden warmth.

But even if I try so hard to think it through,
There's no doubt about it, About what?
I love you!
Just trust me on this, there's no problem.

See?

You lit up a softly swaying fire within me, She's watching me!
It's burning me up and getting me high, Pyromania!
I'm in love with you!
I sing proudly while playing my guitar

Oh no, What's this feeling?
The kindness and sweetness I learned.
At times you may be a bit absurd, but...
Your love is pulling me in.

I want to fall in love with you,
Shining, sparkling like glitter.
By loving it, placing it out and nurturing it,
It will start to develop!

Our encounter,
And at the same time,
Our Love,
Weaves us together.

If only I hated you,
I won't feel this warmth.
But now it's different,
Since we're both in love!

Now I know whether I like or hate you,
I like you.
You love me, can't be anything else,
I love you.

This hot throbbing in my chest,
You know what it is!
Love or hate?

This is actually my first time presenting something under this genre so please bear with me.
What is gold cannot stay.

Not fully or whole-heartedly anyway.
Some things are very transient, they pass by too quickly.
Hihi, you, you & you!
How have you been?
x
I turned 17 a few days ago, it's one of my favourite numbers. Eek. I don't feel any older. AHHA. :")
It is both, a gift, and a burden
to feel everything
oh so deeply
You know who you are.

This sort of gift allows us to see beyond what mother nature allows us to see, to perceive what others cannot, to hear what other's can't hear, and to FEEL, what other's can't feel. We are beyond feeling, we are beyond words. This is why, we are called 'artists', we are the reason for art.
The non-planet, poor Pluto,
Circling far out and forgotten,
I cast my thoughts around you,
Knowing you are like many here,
Too insignificant to be noticed,
And yet, still worthwhile, for sure.

I caress the cold of Neptune,
Her super speed winds whip by,
She has no thought for me, too busy,
As is her sister, Uranus, circling,
Unaware that I, or others, even exist,
Yet, we are made of the same stuff,
Stardust, so exotic, so varied; so us.

My thoughts come leaping back,
Arcing around the rings of Saturn,
Slipping between sparkling icy dust,
Navigating the dark reaching fingers,
Stretching impassively from their host,
Guiding my eye to the little moons,
Knowing that life might thrive there.

I somersault away to King Jupiter,
He used to wander, he battled hard,
Casting out the rogue gas giant,
Clearing the way for the rocky worlds,
Giving life to us all, before drifting back,
Cajoled by Saturn, his anger still rages,
The red spot storm churning, his moons,
Observing, as Jupiter takes on all comers.

And we, the rocky four, so grateful,
As Jupiter snaffles the debris, holds it,
Or hurls it away, so we live, we learn,
Our inner sisters too hot, brother Mars,
Too cold, for now, but one day, yes,
As we begin to bake, Mars awaits,
To welcome us for a million years, or so,
A blink of an eye, universally speaking,
But home has hope, hope offers life,
Unlike our unwanted distant cousin,
The non-planet, poor Pluto.
