“Mercy,” He said, is the higher call, a gift of grace offered to all.
For justice measures and gives each part, But mercy heals the broken heart.
It sees the sinner not just the sin, And invites repentance to begin.
“Blessed are the merciful,” He proclaimed, For they shall receive the same. Not an eye for an eye, nor a tooth for a tooth, But love that seeks the deeper truth.
For in each act of forgiveness shown, the seeds of a greater love are sown. And in this love, we find release, from bonds of bitterness to peace.
So let us walk the merciful mile, With open hearts and a gentle smile. For in mercy’s embrace, we truly find, The justice that’s compassionate and kind.
The words, the words, they’re everywhere,
Run away from them, but to where?
I see and hear them, night and day,
Every awakened moment, here to stay.
Make sense of them I must,
To gain my own undying trust.
In lands where ancient echoes call,
'Neath olive trees that stand so tall,
The question lingers, heavy, cast,
Israel God's chosen or self chosen—vast.

A land that's waged a war, it seems,
Against both civilians and Hamas streams,
No line drawn 'twixt  darkness or light,
A struggle that endures through night.

The Palestinian people bear the toll,
Of a conflict that consumes the whole,
Paying the price of an unfocused hate,
In a history's shadow, they contemplate.

As though blinded by the night so deep,
Where tears of mothers silently weep,
For peace, for solace, for wounds to mend,
For a dawn where all hearts can blend.
Thank you for the finger of justice, Pointed sharp and clear, For showing me your stance, In moments fraught with fear.
Thank you for the sleepless nights, When you thought I was wrong, For the distance you maintained, When our harmony was gone. Thank you for the silence, When you believed I ruined your day, For the cold shoulder turned,in your own, distinct way.For all these acts and more,l offer my gratitude true,For in your actions, I found clarity, And saw the real you.
In the softness of her gaze, a warmth unfurls,
A smile that melts the coldest of worlds.
Tranquil thoughts in her presence arise,
A tingling sensation, spine to skies.
Her voice, a melody that gently entwines,
In every note, a shiver divine.
Such is the power held in her eyes,
A tranquil force, where serenity lies.
Let her warmth be a guiding light,
In her smile, find solace in the night.
For in the cadence of her tender voice,
You’ll find a haven, a reason to rejoice.
She is as gentle as the rain, yet she holds the power of a tsunami.
In the garden of emotions, love may bloom wild, a vibrant flower, tender, meek, or mild.
But deeper still, beneath the surface lies, the soil of respect, where true love’s root abides.
For love without respect, a fleeting flame, may rise in passion, but wanes the same.
Yet when respect in love’s foundation dwells, It forms a bond that time nor trial quells.

Greater than love, respect does stand, a silent guardian, a steady hand. It nurtures love, allows it space to grow, In the warm light of acceptance, it glows.
So let us plant respect first in our heart, for where it lives, true Love shall never part.
Respect is the foundation that allows love to flourish.
In the quiet dawn, where shadows fade,
Truth emerges, unafraid.
A beacon bright, it lights the way,
Guiding hearts through night to day.
In whispers soft, it calls the soul,
To seek the light, to find the whole.
Through veils of doubt, it pierces through,
Revealing paths both old and new.
With every step, the spirit soars,
Unbound by lies, it freely explores.
For in the truth, we find our wings,
And rise above the earthly things.
So let us cherish, let us strive,
To live in truth, to feel alive.
For truth inspires, it sets us free,
To be the best that we can be.
Truth truly sets us free.
