The Sun Will Shine
Merlie T Feb 2021
The sun will shine
tomorrow anew
Through green grass
so tall, as mountains
The rays of light appear like
rain water
dropped fresh from the vine
Diamonds forming reflections
of an entire world
in one small glisten

Sitting in the back grass
Merlie T Apr 2020
I've drank all my tea,
not quite finished my ****,
As I bathe in the sun all day long.
I keep my mind off of time,
and dream times on my side,
hoping to hear a sweet song.
Somday it will come, and the song
will be sung.
All my wine drunken up like the tea.

Everyday is like magic here,
lost in wonderland...
Fields of gold..
castles made of sand

I'm in Outer Space
Merlie T Apr 2020
I'm in outer space!
Swirling through Venus sky,
I  nosedive toward Earth
We all need a little water
to quench this thirst.

A pitty
Merlie T Feb 2021
A pitty to lose so young in life
A greater pitty
to live with pain and strife.
Growth from the grievance
is for all we can hope
Removing the grip from our throats
Shaken and stirred
in a sea of hurt
To burn one's own tongue
tells of a healing which has only begun

My Most Sweet
Merlie T Jun 2020
I want to hold your darkest pains
in a warm blanket
wrapped in my arms
rested against my chest
I will kiss every sorrow
Every shame
Off the tip of your nose
the crown of your forehead
The mid of your naval.
I'll water your seeds
with infinite acceptance
My most sweet, how can I love your brightest, without knowing your darkest?

Waterfront
Merlie T Feb 2021
Soft chirping of birds near
The louder call of a goose glides by
I hear the wind, high in the trees
it's wrestling with the leaves,
Gentle roar of a river to my right.

But we are never sweet
Merlie T Mar 2020
But we are never sweet
No kisses nor loving glance
We have ***-
and its nice.
You're gentle, more so
than those who have loved me.
But we are never sweet.
Not to each other, not to ourselves

Why Oh Why
Merlie T Jun 2020
Why oh WHY
would you choose
the death you did.
Leaving behind everything
you've created
In the midst of its growth.
Before its full bloom,
your loss cut the buds away.

Rose Slicked
Merlie T Jun 2020
Rose slicked islands of the moon..
Carved out snow cliffs,
peaks and sheets of Ice
running toward time and back again
bounced into space
The soliloquies play
Darkness...darkness..darkness...
up..up...up.......
Falling
                         falling
Falling.
Outstretched arms complete otherwise incomplete circles

Your Hot Skin
Warms mine
Belly against Belly
Lips pressed to Lips
You are so Beautiful
in this Lamp Light

These Clouds Do Pass
Merlie T Jun 2020
The grass seemed almost to vibrate
While the yellows came out to the sky
Clouds back drop-
Fully sprung trees
On their way to the summer time..
Yes, these clouds do pass

— The End —
