but throated in such
humming beautiful light.

said sun and fun,
marooning us onto an all-day sigh.

i.

I must be honest
Mine sweetest earl Jane;
I hath not been on much
From the sickness, and pain's.

ii.

If I'm to goeth away
Today mine sweet Jane;
Knoweth we shalt meeteth again
At the front of heaven's gate's.

grumpy thumb
Streetdogs rattle
a drunken cackle
spilling home after hours.
Scuffing pavements
dragging heels and dignity low.
Voices traveling further
than they need to go.
The ****** persist in splitting peace
invading night.
Children pretend to sleep
believing the bowsies are cool.
Wanting to be just like them.
Some will too.

we know it is not right,
but we continue on doing it.
we know we can hurt,
but we never admit.
we know someone might fall in love,
but we have no intention to make them fall.
we know it is never easy to forgive,
but we do not know how to say sorry.
we know it is easy to say good bye,
but we know it is hard to do.
in every thing we do,
there is an equal and opposite reaction.
Standing in the middle of a boulevard, with a life of a farrow,
Facing right to the sky, like I'd  never see tomorrow,
Dropped me my blessings, like a beak on a sparrow,
Paved my own way, and a path to follow.

Stranded with my phobia, and some pain to swallow,
Gone was the life, left surrounded by my shadow,
Shrunk into nothingness, with a life to borrow,
I live for today, not only for tomorrow.

Flowing with my stream, and my pain so shallow,
Stood tall for myself, i am my own fellow,
Like a tree with no roots, that never had to grow,
I only live for today, and a little sorrow for tomorrow.
Sadness is something that we all live with in certain times of life. The point is not to live with sorrow,...Its how to outlive sorrow.Inspired by the conscience - a human nature.

My teenage years flew by,
and not once have I experienced
the quintessential rebellion
that movies portray.
I've never smoked.
I've never drank.
I've never been to a real party.
I've never snuck out.
I've never kissed anyone.
My teenage years have been
uneventful,
and I'm not sure if I should be
grateful
or upset about it.

The twinkle

Catch the twinkle in my eye?
Slip it in your purse.
It's the only star you'll need in this universe.

You have it to keep
Treat it well.
What the future brings no one can tell.

You've had it ten years now.
A boy of five and a girl of three.
The twinkle shining bright via two smaller versions of you and me!
human chemistry never fails to amaze. We live on through our children. You'll never know what happens if you catch the twinkle in someone's eye!

Edited last line to read "you and me!" After all.... My lovely wife also played the leading role in bringing my beautiful children into this world! :)
