I gave her a red rose
It was closed and fresh
She accepted the red rose
But she did not care the rose

The rose remained closed and dry
And the color went from red to black
Just like my heart
That I gave her.

Her flames continued to spread
She hurt everyone except me
I am her water and
I am the only one who knows
How to extinguish
Her flames.

The pen becomes lighter
The ink gets darker
I fly through the paper
Just let me write
To enjoy my flight.

The feels of a poet are never easily explained,
A string of words,
Scratches of a pencil,
We pour our heart into the note book beneath our pillows.
Expressing our pain, sorrow and joy all in one place,
Our safe haven.
But if you ask how we are the answer never changes.
We are fine.
I feel like my notebook under my mattress is my safe haven, and it holds so many emotions and feelings that I can't explain any other way.

My idea of a perfect Heaven,
Consists of all of the things I would go to hell for.
So where do I go?
This has just been tugging at the corner of my mind.

A war rages in my heart,
The only casualties are my feelings,
My tears threaten to spill when we speak,
How do I tell you that I love another,
You are my brother,
If not by blood then by bond,
I can't live without you,
But I can't live with you,
If I tell you how far will you go?
Could I still reach you?
Can we go back to friendship?
Dedicated to one of my best friends who I love as a brother but not my significant other.

The storm will come.
Or maybe it has already.
Maybe it's raining on you now.

But know this,
Sometimes the storm comes to clear a path.
I wanted to say this because sometimes people look at the past and forget about the future. Maybe you significant other left you, and that's your storm, but always continue, because you might find someone you love even more and you will look back and thank the storm
