I looked into my grandpa's eyes
In my daughter's face disguised
My son's hands now strong indeed
Just like my dad's I see.

Temperament like calm currents flow
From generations long ago
Eyes hazel gold so beautiful
Passed to me ... ages old

Grandma gave her that tenacity
And there's Meema's willful personality
My son took Peepa's tender heart
That feels the pain of another's lot

High cheekbones a dead give away
Of Comanche heritage displayed
Blonde hair like one we never knew
His life cut off way too soon

Deep poetic waters flow
Music locked inside us rose
From history past revealed today
Sweet sung lullabies relayed.

Unknown tears that flowed from souls
Pain and hardship we'll never know
What did it take to bring us here
What suffering did they volunteer

Archives of history living in me
Within me the keys to great mysteries
Treasures buried deep inside my soul
Tapestries of lives sewn together as a whole

Fragments of you, pieces of me
Weaving together delicate filigrees
Illustrious building rise from the grave
Living forever through endless age

I’ll always be here.  To talk.  To vent to.  Anything. I’m here.
If you desert me, want to **** me, even if I want to **** you.
I’ll be there.
Always.
I’ll be
here.

Hi! or do I mean die?
2 teens sitting in an ally
Ones high on life and the other is high of the pills she found in her mothers medicine cabinet.
Both walking the slender tightrope called love,
knowing at any moment,
one wrong movement could send you spiralling out of eternity.
The only difference between the two, is one has confidence that the other long desired for.

Hi! or do I mean eye, as in an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind.
As if lying to the two faced backstabbing ***** called your brain makes the colours in the sky appear brighter.
Taking scissors to the depressing tightrope in hope it will make you happier, I mean I forgot to say thank you, so this is the only way to forgive myself. Braving the plunge for the sole purpose to escape....NO!

But now High.
Yes thats me high, I will fly so high ill soon forget the mistakes of my past. Soon looking down on them thinking they are so small, because hi and high are two different things, and although I am both those teens sitting in an ally where everyday is my darkest day....those eerie thoughts will burn to a blaze.

Depression is like a wall you have to climb to succeed,
depression is a rock pulling you down the stream,
depression allows all insecurities to take over,
depression holds you back from everything you love,
in the end only making it worse,
it feels like there is no where out,
just a blade on your wrist and pills in your mouth,
but Im not ready to give up allthough I have tried,
what Im ready for is making this depression -
die
Just a little description of how depression feels to me at this exact moment. I wont be going to school today either because every time I try to even think less do leave my dorm I break into a million pices and cry endlessly and I don’t like having panic attacks because the feeling of passing out is still new to me. ugh.

As the whistle blows,
We stand too.
An order is bellowed,
Fix bayonets!
The time has come,
For our last breath.
As the whistle blows,
We go forth,
Into the mist.
As the whistle blows,
We die well.
A poem about WW1 and the trenches

Behind the fights, the scream, the pain, the fleeing.
We live together, deeply in love, forever.
We all have our flaws, and these are ours.
So we have something to work on together.
When we are forever

I am a girl
a girl who's deeply in love
in love with the clouds above
hoping that she will be loved
