My brain feels like a tunnel with no light.
No signal.
And here I am,
driving until I see the light.
My foot on the accelerator,
but my car doesn't get any faster.
It feels like it's being held back by an anchor.
I try to keep the speed.
I don't want to slow down.
I'm here to come out of this tunnel
without any light.
Without any signal,
but my car feels chained.
Or am I the one confusing the accelerator
with the brakes?

Miss Sunshine blocked by clouds
Nowhere to be found
Letting the world see her again
Little does she know
That even covered by rainy days
Her warmth still burns through our skin
And when the rain finally stops
Her light pierces the walls

No matter how hard it may be
No matter how long it may take

Miss Sunshine, please remember that every storm will pass
And even during the darkest days
your light will always be seen
Your heat will always be felt

Snow falling from the sky.
Feel the cold breeze again.
Why?
Why are you back?
I feel cold.
I'm freezing.
Longing for a blanket
A blanket to hold me,
Warms me,
Comfort me.
Can you be my blanket?
Or can you just sit by my cold fireplace and listen to me?
And can you please put my name on yours?
I promise you that even though my fireplace feels cold,
I can make it burn if you help me.
A blanket that I can’t buy but a blanket I can find

Her eyes are poetry and a blink of her eyes is a poem.
Her voice is poetry and each of her words is a poem.
Her thinking is poetry and each of her thoughts is a poem.

My love for her is poetry and each of my expressions for her is a poem.
My care for her is poetry and each of my suggestions for her is a poem.
My desire for her is poetry and each expression of my romance for her is a poem.

Our mutual attraction is poetry and each of our confessions to one another is a poem.
Our eternal relationship is poetry and each of our manifestations for one another is a poem.
Our way of talking to each other is poetry and each of our conversations with one another is a poem.
Redefining my poetry and poem.

Your light is slowly fading in the sky
Now it is time to say goodbye
Your warmth helped many
But now please rest well

The train is slowly arriving
To take you once again
To the land of dreams
A place that will give you the warmth
You shared with the world

A journey you deserve
Know that I am proud of you
So now close your eyes and
Good night - Miss Sunshine

On this snowy white day full of hope and love,
I once sat on my couch
Waiting for that one special gift,
Under the bright green,
Filled with lights and decorations,
Christmas tree

I received that gift once,
Realized it was too heavy for my little hands
Returned it to Santa Claus
Told him: "My hands can't hold it yet, please return it to me when I grow up and get strong enough to carry it".

This once snowy white day has turned dark and gray.
I'm still sitting on my couch
Waiting for this special gift,
Longing to receive it again,
Under the now old and rotting
Filled with burned out lights and fallen ornaments,
Christmas tree
For my gift that I'm longing for,
Now knowing I'm ready to hold on and never let go

Until Christmas I will wait

Once there was a candle in my hand
with no light
Just a candle

You gave it fire
And made it burn
It created light
A sign of hope
A guide through the night

Now this once burning candle
Begins to fade slowly
In this dark and frightening tunnel

It was not you who blew out the candle
It is certainly not my birthday wish
That I tried to blow out
It was a wind of change -
Time itself is the person
Who tried to put it out

Now I'm here, trying my best
To keep alive the guide through the night

My Beatrice - source of light
Guide through the night
When all hope and love is gone
Will you light the candle for me again?
I lost you in this dark place, my love
In this tunnel of despair

Don't let the candle go out
Thou shalt be the one to fade
May hope and luck be a shield for the fire
