you're the one good bond i had

the one good thing in the bad

the prettiest person were you

accepting my ugly and blue

i will never be free from our bond

of you i shall forever stay fond

somethings are too painful to remember

but you're too precious to forget

love like dying embers

our destinies in stone set

though apart

beating hearts

pumping the same red

residing in each other's head

two books too different for a shelf

two souls too dark for a self
i guess, love will never be enough

And with a sincere smile,
she looked to the stars
knowing the future was worthwhile,
even, with a thousand scars.

Strike— bare, boastful light.
Snakelike, your silver serenity
Strike with firm, flaunting fatality
Surrender then, to specks flush-light.
Split asunder, your thriving fragility
Shuddering then, a humble complexity
Shimmering so lovingly bright.
Spin I the crystals; your dancing simplicity
Simplicity— oh, so generous in its creativity
Scarce old stars rather I,
                       than sun’s lifeless white.
20/10/2021

I keep thinking: it must be painful for the mighty rays of sun to be broken to bits by the sun-catcher that shines by my window. Yet, the patterns that form through the process are so overwhelmingly beautiful.
There must be some beauty in the pain that comes through bravery.

There's a saying in Urdu - my mother tongue - which goes like this:
کچھ سوچ کے شمع پہ پروانا جلا ہو گا
شاید اسی جلنے میں جینے کا مزا ہو گا

Which roughly translates to:
"The moth must've thought something before it leapt into the flames
Perhaps it was that burning where the true flavour of living lay

Honestly, I so wish the translation could do justice to how beautiful that verse is in our language. The first time I heard it, it just took my breath away.

At peace with my demons
Free from temptations
Finally awakened
Never forsaken by the God that created me

Thinking about what the future holds for me
Healthy as I can be
Manifesting who I aspire to be

Secretly achieving my dreams
How I Envision myself since I was sixteen
Always imagined I would be a queen
But that's not what reality had in store for me
Working as a trainee
Nine to five daily
Never needing anyone to save me
Lunch break at three
Nothing in this world is free
That I can guarantee

Hope you enjoy reading this piece ☆
Came from nowhere
presented to me all your care
pretended, that you are born fair

I believed all was true
shared everything which helps you through
helped you to sustain, and you knew

But for you, your arrival was only meant to gain
resulted ,all my affection was nothing but went in vain

But I wasn't a fool
you forgot just one thing
you won't breathe , if I decide not to..

There's this secret box under my bed...
It's for you...yes...for you
When you enter my room...
Please don't draw the curtains
The place holds my darkness and secrets...
It doesn't need the touch of light...
But the flame of the candle will support you...
Take the box and open it
You will find some stuff holding memories
of us from centuries...
Ignore them for a while
Take a look at that bundle of old yellow pages...
These are the poems I couldn't dare to complete
Do me a favor...complete them for me...please
I left spaces for your part
Write about yourself...
Write about us...
The typewriter is still on the table...
These pages do hold my soul and tears...
Do treasure it...it's the last of us
As for the secret box, take it or burn it
When you leave my place...with the poems, with our moments breathing alive in them...
Head towards that park with pink bougainvilleas...
which must be brown now...
Sit on that wooden bench under the banyan tree
And read all those poems containing us...
You will find me alive in those verses...
Give those pages your soul and tears too...
At least we'll be together there
Do not forget taking the last stroll in that park
Because...I have left the town forever.
He got the letter...but she had already left the town...

Just an imagination
Nocturnal visions of the highest order welcomes you
Priestess of ancient tribes...
Cast your spell, wrap the moon with dark tinsel shawls
Open the gateways dark anime girl ,
potentize your aerial fields of resonance
enter into the dragon's shrine and use your potion
to qualm the drake keeper;
Seize your destiny as the stars seizes the night
use your wizardry to dye the sun hairs off the sun
allow the purple bruises of evening to give you
eglantine kisses, dark as blackstrap molasses
if all else fails rock to the mellifluous rhythm
of tantric drums.  Ink your beauty on their bodies,
morosely caress their wounds and heal them,
Saturate them with your purple plum heart.

Give me a pen without an ink
My words will still flow
They will pour out without a blink
By this I'll still grow
