Freud says tattoos Are The Manifestation Of a Trauma Every point A Separate pain We Have Suffered It took Two And a Half Hours To complete The Diary Of my Trauma And half a million perforations To convert Those Memories Into something New And Beautiful To finally Let go Of the past

‘I am…’ 'Or am I’? Who can say? ‘A posteriori’ leads the way For the extra and the ordinary Axiomatic sway, In the gravity of corollary, ‘A priori’ interplay Ataraxic overlay of anxious automation, As the innocence of dissonance delay. Practicing semantic contemplation, In willfully prevenient interpolation, Civilly disobedient in expediently seeming disarray, Forecasts in vague extrapolation Contrasts the millennial contagion Already underway, Filling nihilistic voids with particles in waves, To interpret dreams of Freud to free Oedipus’s slaves, A degreeless scholastic who never misbehaves, Simulated humanoid dramatic in the affect that he craves, Inflating linguistics in acrobatic raves, A thespian who plans conation with legacy engraves. The probabilistic determiner of cosmogenous debates, An apperceived inquirer of qualitative states, Inspiring proprietor of dismality abates. Challenging aporia as epistemic oscillates, Stoically, heroically, ‘one’ who amalgamates, Circling the infinite in hermeneutic calibrates. An escaped prisoner from depressive disillusion, Of an introspective extrovert who finds solace in confusion, The personable recluse fighting an illusion Breaking down the nuances of every institution. Calculating consequence as time goes to infinity Revolutionary commonsense of principal utility, An opinionated adversary, to the realist without evidence, Theorizing in futility, Stipulating every sense leading to the virility of the pretense that dominates community. Divergently converging all the efforts we’ve personified, Inadvertently submerging old traditions that unethically were codified, Hastening the urgency for purging that which cannot be modified through the merging of the certainty that will no longer coincide, Stationing the levies to finally stem the tide, Of periodic enmities disguised to be necessities so blatantly deified. Observing moral sentiments, perched upon eternity, As consequential regiments are expounded universally, To unstratify the residents indiscriminately And identify quantum elements spiritualistically, Changing collective behavior individually, Socializing constructs in joint ventured logo therapy.

(for Christopher Isherwood) Seated after breakfast In this white-tiled cabin Arabs call the House where Everybody goes, Even melancholics Raise a cheer to Mrs. Nature for the primal Pleasure She bestows. *** is but a dream to Seventy-and-over, But a joy proposed un- -til we start to shave: Mouth-delight depends on Virtue in the cook, but This She guarantees from Cradle unto grave. Lifted off the ***** Infants from their mothers Hear their first impartial Words of worldly praise: Hence, to start the morning With a satisfactory Dump is a good omen All our adult days. Revelation came to Luther in a privy (Crosswords have been solved there) Rodin was no fool When he cast his Thinker, Cogitating deeply, Crouched in the position Of a man at stool. All the arts derive from This ur-act of making, Private to the artist: Makers' lives are spent Striving in their chosen Medium to produce a De-narcissus-ized en- During excrement. Freud did not invent the Constipated miser: Banks have letter boxes Built in their façade Marked For Night Deposits, Stocks are firm or liquid, Currencies of nations Either soft or hard. Global Mother, keep our Bowels of compassion Open through our lifetime, Purge our minds as well: Grant us a king ending, Not a second childhood, Petulant, weak-sphinctered, In a cheap hotel. Keep us in our station: When we get pound-notish, When we seem about to Take up Higher Thought, Send us some deflating Image like the pained ex- -pression on a Major Prophet taken short. (Orthodoxy ought to Bless our modern plumbing: Swift and St. Augustine Lived in centuries When a stench of sewage Made a strong debating Point for Manichees.) Mind and Body run on Different timetables: Not until our morning Visit here can we Leave the dead concerns of Yesterday behind us, Face with all our courage What is now to be.

As I go to sleep Dreams come knocking My subconscious mind In a rendezvous with me Am I asleep? The REM phase kicks in What do I want to view? I do not have a choice I am just a spectator For another movie Do I know the cast or crew? Is it a blockbuster or horror movie? The conclusion is inconclusive I may not be a protagonist Maybe a figment of my imagination Or, a vivid description of my days events It requires psychoanalysis My subconscious mind is in control Why can’t I have control? It’s not within my control I am asleep and my mind is awake Freud wrote extensively about it- In the ‘Interpretation of Dreams’ But still, outside our realm of understanding The symbols and motifs can give clue Ancient cultures have recorded on clay tablets But we may not be ever sure Or maybe the soul is guided somewhere Or it could be our inner desires Maybe it’s an unknown world Where we go out to venture Let there be beautiful dreams And dreams that inspire

If I said my heart was a cyanide laced pomegranate, would that make its expressions any less ****** If I said falling in love was like throwing yourself off a cliff on a winter night and drowning yourself tumbling through the air blind like a bag of kittens, but I was quoting Kierkegaard, would that make it any less of an awkward melodrama? If I told you the western blocks blind attacks on the other, kinda resembled Freud's account of the mother of a miscarriages melancholia, is that a condoning or a condemnation? if I translated every meta-narrative of class relation, oppression, wage slavery, state violence, suppression, into anthropomorphic allegories for a myriad of psychological phenomena, would I be an academic or a shinto miko? [and would the world be any better?] if I superimposed on the geographical topology, the political and then the existential, would I have a sandwich? Or a lasagne?

Annoying At night I hear neighbors dogs barking, under my wheels, their dogs I'm parking. In the night, I hear things that go bump, I load up the shotgun, and give it a pump. Jehovah witnesses knocking at the front door, how I wish, I could bury them under my floor. The car in front of me driving to slow, my horn I give a constant blow. The person in front of me at the store, taking to long, some people on this Earth just don't belong. Can't seem to get an ******** even my hand got a rejection. Roller coaster breaks down, right before my turn, I've now reached the point of no return. So many things make me annoyed, maybe I need to visit Sigmund Freud. Dinner not quite ready on time, running out of things to rhyme. No electric for more than an hour, a woman that requires to much flour. Watching movies I don't like, My job is now going on strike. Wiping my *** more than once, wearing a hat that spells dunce. Wife of ten years asked for a divorce, things in life not taking the right course. **** sites that make me pay, my hair that is turning grey. My beautiful children that never call, girls that think my ***** is to small. People that think their better than me, having to pay for things that are free. Things that annoy me is such a huge list, just thinking about it is getting me ******

Years later Bathsheba's psychiatrist Was analysing the tryst Between King David And her. It was no tryst Said she. What a slur. He was a ****** And an opportunist. An amoeba would concur Said the psychiatrist That a shower screen And being more demure Would have been Quite spiritually enterprising. You cannot expect Kind David to desist From objectifying your femurs And a cracking pair of amethysts. Don't treat me Like some calculating Hormone Exchange Unit You sexist misogynist. You are not fit To analyse me. You say your name's Freud But you're wholly devoid Of any insight Of what is amiss Or my troubles might be. Not one piece of grit Have you put in my oyster. You obsequious churl I'm a girl you don't mess with. I could have you hung. But instead she dismissed him and booked an appointment With a certain professor Who went by the name of Carl Gustav Jung.

Bathsheba's Psychiatrists
i smoke cigarettees too **** much. this is how you know nothing original will be said in this poem. i use cigarettes as a social crutch. i don't know about you but when i'm in the mood to be honest i'll tell you i smoke cigarettes because i want to be 'cool'. because let's be honest: i can't think of a poet a musician an actor an olympic swimmer a hockey player a president a priest a **** a serial killer or a psychiatrist that's worth mentioning that did not smoke yes, i know you can and go ahead, but let me first make a point instead let me be honest, if i can smoke a cigarette and maybe be alone for 5.75 minutes then maybe a thought will occur to me something outside this ******** world and it will be good enough to write down, just maybe. let me be honest i don't need you with your judgemental eyes and your cursory glances walk away from me at a party i don't miss you i am with her. i garauntee if you asked Whitman Hemmingway Freud Phelps Obama about their actual relationship with smoking tobacco they would have similiar descriptions. but go ahead, tell me about the hazardous effects of cigarettes let's talk about the cancer and the tar and the disgusting phlem that i will constantly have to eject from my throat-hole when i'm fifty. go ahead, tell me about ******* people over and ripping their minds out and the sickness and the disease and how it's all so wrong. it's as amusing to me as it is to you. Mcdonald's will **** you. Pall Mall will **** me.

some may say a man with a beard has something to hide some may say a bearded man is a lonely man let me tell you a law of the known universe all great influential men had beards Consider this: The Soul is set aflame by the constant ruminations of the mind that venture beyond one’s stagnant self. This leads to great inspiration and ultimately inspiring others greatly. so you see only the bearded man can transcend himself List of Great Bearded Men: Frederick Douglas, Ulysses S. Grant, Ernest Hemingway, Jesus, Abraham Lincoln, Confucius, Karl Marx, Sigmund Freud, John Lennon, Vincent Van Gogh, Albert Einstein, King Leonidas, Zeus, Poseidon, Billy Mays, Most notable Pirates.

The Beard
It's really quite simple & not so scientific. Unconscious he says! Even drunk, there is no desire, absolutely no desire, to be with my birth-mother. Nada. None. Zilch. Quite simply, Freud was nuts. Simply nuts.

The Oedipus Complex Is Quite Simple (Freud Was Nuts)
Henceforth all ducks shall be shackled entwined in martyrdom half-shaven and fully aroused baked and shaked and rattled and rolled like bunnies, their reproduction obviously blantantly even Freud would scratch his beard too blatant the *** obviously there must be another underlying problem loving alcohol means you need **** *** obsession means you need love? Condoms? Loch Ness Monster came over for tea drank the imaginary brew spat boiled liquid onto a canvas and sold it as art "yes, yes, what does it mean?" What does it mean? It means that you think too much and don't feel and don't think enough too caught up like me not perfect just only and only is all one can do can be accounted for one, two, three fall in-between the divisions of derivatives damask dames like snoozing penguins which is black, white and dread all over none too sure or very glassy not too much of anything just, just.

Gravity is negligible Ground below disappears Stars are within reach And our energy grows Even Einstein envies us Because time stops When we are together Control is needless With full confidence we make every desire reality Even Atlas envies us Because the world lies In the palm of our hands When we are together As brave warriors We boldly crash Every border ahead For a higher cause Even Napoleon envies us Because we are the masters of power When we are together The melody of Our melded bodies Is the only thing we hear Even Mozart envies The perfectly composed symphony When we are together Moral vanished Rationality forgotten Our psyche ruled by Id Even Freud envies us because pleasure is the only drug we use When we are together The fantasy is real As  is the breathing Mine and yours Deep and passionate Even Nietzsche envies us Because the Übermensch becomes alive When we are together

When we are together
Waiting for him, Was like a, Mindless abyss. I thought, This time I should give it a shot. Add plus venture, Into a realm full with pleasures of flesh. Rather waiting to lie  in sepulcher. Thence came the wooers, On horses, chariots, planes and cars, Courted me to the foreign lands of brand new emotions. Greasy, exotic, curious  and even obscure , To satiate my hunger, They poured, And I sinfully devoured. Ooooh! A whip here. Ouuch! A tickle there. Aahhhhh!! The sheer unfolding of their classy work. Every night lusciously they came, Wrapped me in an awe of satire, skepticism and imagination, Not to say of the bruises they gave, Tears I shed of Anger,Pain ,Love and Hate. Still I  followed them blindly and agape, Because a new world in me was taking shape. Of Shakespeare, Freud, Tolstoy, Eliot, Byron, Wordsworth and my then fav, the great Gabriel Garcia Marquez. A medley  of fantasy, fact-fiction, comedy, realism and romance. Oh! What not I chanced upon. All emphasizing emotion, imagination, scientific and natural thought. There was no stopping of these gnawing hunger pangs, None lasted more than a one night stand. The foolish me, unaware, cascaded in the fatal encounters, Not knowing the pangs are of soul to reach the supreme ****** Thence came a Seer The Prophet, The Wanderer, The Forerunner, It was as if he can rip me with his thoughts, And see my soul through that tear….. I distinctly remember that divine night, The moment I held him in my desirous hands, I was no more in dual fight. Things started falling into place, Was no more in that abysmal space. Still I would say, It’s a current phase. This soon would also evade. New Lover , For every new night… To cut a long story short, Just so, Because of your low attention span, The lover, the poet , the wooer Was the great Khalil Gibran.

We used to play billiards and fight all the fire. We'd drink tea from cheap mugs, read The Economist or newspaper, chat about boyfriends, girlfriends, what was and wasn't a rumour? The printer munched on paper, lounge about on scratchy chairs. 50% revision, 50% laughter. Psychology was me with a group of girls. How many people, where, when, and what was it Freud said again? Spanish was the same, me, L, C and E. Picasso's view of war, a bull and a flower, grammar overload in the afternoon. And then there was English. Can you hear me Fitzgerald? On a row of females (not just one), roses, four stories and a single trumpet. On the garish bus to see the Manor or the specialists, to walk up and down aisles in Asda, talking music with baguettes and meatballs. Two years came, two years went. Exams, goodbyes, brown envelopes arrived. After tapas and a holiday came sly September. Here I was with fresh men, different faces from different places. So I walked up the steps into the next avenue.

(Male  Female Plain-Both) **A message that's always in my head, Maybe it'll reach somebody, who knows? Certainly I've always been this way, A patched up, insane Matryoshka!** *A package sung from a headache, Time may pass but the hands are still at 4! Don't tell anyone but the world, Will turn upside down!* **Ah, I feel torn apart, Throw out all the memories too! Ah, how I want to know, To the deepest part...** Uhm, well if you please, Dance more and more! Kalinka? Malinka? Just play the chord! What am I supposed to do, With such feelings? Can't you tell me? Just a lil bit? Loud and clear, 524! Freud? Keloid? Just hit the key! All, everything's to be laughed at! Hurry and dance with all your foolishness! **Clap your hands, it's not really childish! And listen, to this chaotic fully-crazed tune. I certainly don't care either way, The warmth of this world is melting away! After school, you**  and me, rendezvous? Rendezvous? Rendezvous? Or perhaps you'd like a hopping adventure? With a crooked smile, 1! 2! 1! 2! *Ah, I'm falling~! Catch every part of me! Ah, with both of your hands, Catch me for me...* Uhm, well... listen a little, It's something important! Kalinka? Malinka? Just pinch my cheek! It's just that I can't control myself anymore! Should we do more fantastic things? Pain, pleasure, hurt but don't cry! Parade? Marade? Just clap some more! Wait, you say? Wait, wait, wait, Before we fuse to just one... After school you  and me, rendezvous? Rendezvous? Rendezvous? Or perhaps you'd like a hopping adventure? With a crooked stare, 1! 2! 1! *2! Hey~ hey~* Down with a cold? Hey~ hey~ Show me your song! Hey~ hey~ See how even today... I'm still a patched up, insane Matryoshka! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ **Hey, hey, hey! If you'd please, Dance more and more! Kalinka? Malinka? Just play that chord! What am I supposed to do, With such feelings? Can't you tell me? Just a lil bit?** Loud and clear, 524! Freud? Keloid? Just hit the key! All, everything's to be laughed at! Hurry, go and dance no more! 'Smooch' 'smooch' Kiss! This moment is ours alone! 'Smooch' 'smooch' Kiss! We don't care about them, not at all!

Had a dream that Bob De Niro And I Stole a car. We cruised the California Coastline. It ended in L.A. It ended abruptly. And Freud Would have a Field day. I’d Simply smile with The sunrise.

I am the pretender You must precensor When I'm an inventor Who can't get centered I'm the apologist You're the psychologist We have a suitable deal You provide an even keel And cook delicious meals And let my fingers feel But you do so much more Going deeper than the shore You make a difference By insistence I see your footprints In the distance They lead me to progress My mind cannot process Those things I can't fathom You effortlessly grab them You were my bastion of behavior I thought you were my savior You're more like Charles Xavier Controlling my mind To keep me blind By taking my vision When you make your incision And put me in prison You're Sigmund Freud On steroids You fill my void Then get annoyed You cured me of my madness Yet instilled sadness When I got addicted to your healing But then heard your tires peeling After all your analysis You deemed me talentless You used to be my example of what to be Now you're my example of what to flee You made me hate the number three While running my car into a tree Which made me scream ouch My ejection from your couch So I hide in my palace And drink from a chalice Filled with mindless malice While holding my phallus But I learned my lesson One last confession Someone that can calm my brain Can also leave a permanent stain

You told me once that I am your favorite writer. I was hesitant and unsure. Your innocence might jinx me this time. Then you laughed, as you always do, like a child giggling while waiting the rain from the summer sky. Everything becomes clear. After all, whatever comes from you is never you. Of course, you are as always an empty being. Your emptiness tells many stories. Your emptiness fools me. Your emptiness is the real vessel of soul. Your emptiness is a parchment for budding thoughts. Your emptiness is a magic. No wonder, I fell in love with that emptiness. I just do not know if emptiness loves me back. Or, was it me who stares at the abyss long enough that a centenary gone by. 1900: The Boxer rebellion begun. Freud published his Interpretation of Dreams. 1903: The Wright brothers marked their first flight. In turn, Curtiss decided to invade the sky. 1912: Titanic anchored to Atlantis, to its final resting place. Two years after, the first World War broke out. Horses galloped to the killing fields. 1925: The first among many trials of the century began. That day, Darwin risen for the second time. 1934: ****** became Fuhrer. The world becomes a theater. “Absurd,” says Beckett. “Cruelty” for Artaud. 1939; 1941: Second World War broke out; Pear Harbor bombed. Asia Pacific meets its infernal fate. 1945: Three mushroom clouds seen: New Mexico, Hiroshima, and Nagazaki. 1960’s: Humanity becomes obsessed with multiple wars: cold, space, nuclear, music, universities; not counting the mutants who played major roles in between. 1986: Itay wrote a letter to Inay. The letter reached Manila after a few days from Jeddah. 1989: Capitalism won. Berlin wall fell like a paper plane after its victorious flight. My parents met for the first time. Months later, they decided to cut the cake and get married. 1993: The World Wide Web saw its day. I was born. Twenty two years later, I met her. A year after, Phil Collins sang once again Separate lives. That time, I know, I will never be your favorite writer.

Death cures all sickness. Freud said the goal of all living things is death. Can I get a witness? So then it is slow torture for us to do things, Like keep houseplants and goldfish alive. Death cures all sickness. It makes the will to live seem pretentious When we make it point to continue on, survive. Can I get a witness? But I don’t believe in cheating. Not all living things understand suicide. Death cures all sickness. Drunk at night I bear my heart repeating, That I not go gently into the night. Death cures all illness. No, I am bone and breath And will not strive for death. Death cures all sickness. Can I get a witness?

Death Cures (A Villanelle)
Mary, plain name.  Mary, mother of God Mary, Queen of the Strip Mall Mary, daughter of a King and a ***** Divinity in her blood, conqueror of lands, Monarch of her body, kingdom of junkies. Nails inlaid with pearls, mink lashes and onyx eyes Indigo polyester wraps her 36, 30, 41, saltwater taffy legs, **** and *** Mary wasn’t a tall boy, Mary is a funnel cloud queen Obsidian brazilian in velcro, soda can curls. Mary has no titles, Mary is a ******* Mary is an exile. Queen of cream stucco and neon and parking lots. Mary has disciples, all named Judas. She has Roy Cohn, the judge’s son, and Louis XIV on their knees in prayer. She has **** Cheney, Little Richard, and Freud their knees in the bathroom behind the Tesco. Mary doesn’t confess, doesn’t beg, doesn’t buy. Mary the conqueror, Alexander reincarnate, she survives. Body bathed in ultraviolet, cocoa butter, vaseline, and newport menthols. Mary talks to God in the mirrors at the salvation army. Mary is scared of dying, she knows she is no ones martyr. Mary never kneels, left the Bible in the motel nightstand. A graceful end, a unceremonious departure. Trade rose petals for needles and styrofoam slurpee cups. Mary’s mistresses, lovers, and wives, gave her a few lead rounds, Left her in the strip mall mausoleum. Mary, queen of the carnal, saint of suburban perversions. Mary never asked God for forgiveness or a fix.
