You pull me down so I can’t see the mountains
You block my eyes so I can’t see the sky.
You take the joy from every day endeavors
And I am left with naught to do but cry.

You don’t return the sentiments I give you
You never say the words I long to hear.
You don’t observe the world the way that I do
It causes me to shed an endless tear.

You know you cannot live without me
Yet you treat me as an unimportant thing.
I’m just expected to be happy
Because I wear your golden ring.

You cast a haze on celebrations
You never help me to succeed.
You always think I shouldn’t bother
To step in where I might see a need.

You put no value on my efforts
There is no praise when I excel
You spend your love on your possessions
There’s none for me that I can tell.

I cannot see a way around this
You’ve blinded me to every hope
I exist in worlds of darkness
In a TV Opera selling soap.

I don't remember now, what exactly he did, but it made me very mad and every old gripe floated to the surface.

The room in starlight bathed
My body unscathed
Swimming indoors
sheets are shores

Wash over me like the tide
for I don't sleep at night
Swimming indoors
where it always pours

Moon reflection
on my cushion
Swimming indoors
following ancient lores

Diving deep to find
an Atlantis on my mind
Swimming indoors
til reaching the dream's source

Perhaps there's a force
Behind these poetic flows
A gathering of life times
All of our personal
   Hell's in toll...
Images
Cave-wall drawling
Books we've may have written
All our experiences
       All our misgivings...
Here and now
Trapped within!
The subconscious mind
Warps and bends
To be a Poet
A calling within!!!
Traveler Tim
Let your writings
Enhance your mind
Continue to educate others
As you travel through time
It is all within one's grasp
If they are willing to learn
Take things by the lesson
In order to earn
all my life
i've been preparing faces
to meet the faces that
i've met

friends
family
the man who delivers newspapers
at our doorstep each morning

i've laughed at their silly jokes
as they tossed their heads from side to side
in naive stupidity and their sheer ignorance
a pompous lot, the human race i tell you

i've acknowledged their staunch morals
and tried to make them my own
as they scorned at the girl in a skimpy dress
and chewed on mutton bones gluttonously

all my life, i've been trying hard
to blend in
with people who've shown me
that i don't belong with them

and tonight when i shed gallons of tears
i have only my bed and pillow to share
i've learnt that my sadness
is my very own
just a sad girl writing to survive
Words are the chemicals
Packed in vials sublime
Untouched pure in time
Their base Property lyrical

Words are the coefficients
Reactants , The Thoughts and Emotions
To balance the emotional equation
Poetic are the words omniscient

Combustible the thoughts, fragile the emotions
Handle with care , the equations
Cold storage processed, refilled
Magnanimous ,the words distilled

Thoughts never too dormant
Never static the emotions
The words a kinetic solution
Potential they have Charmant
Some thoughts  about words

at 4 in the
morning the sun
is never up
but i usually am

i worry
about things
that are out of
my control
even more about
things that are

get up early
when i work
and earlier
when i don’t
the older i get the
more i learn
sometimes you
need to cry it out

alone
at night
into your pillow
the blankets
wrapped all
around you

sometimes you
need to cry
and cry
and cry

until the morning
sun falls across
the tears dried
under your lashes

and the lump
in your throat has
dissolved so you can
breathe with ease

you need to get up
let hot water
wash it away
let the steam rising
from your mug soften
any sorrow left around
your morning eyes
take a deep breath
don’t mention it
to anyone

and
just
keep
going

i will
just
keep
going
