A thought of you crosses my mind
never knew it would treat
my midday blues that wild.
Banished it in a blink of an eye
in less than a swift mo
the rose sway at the first light.

The day was long though
but gone before the rainbow
touches the butterfly.

Scurried to the night
back into the half veiled Niqab.
The waxing moon is on the open half
down the far-fetched sun's half eye.

When will you come by
before my eyes?
There is still hope
to escape from
    the nightmare
             and
anxiety
that haunts the wild nights,
I had been spending all night by writing those feelings
on the cold
       and damp walls,
and I think that we are one of those who need
warmth in love and life.

And here I think
that the poems let me speak
for those who have no voice.

Girl I wanna see you smile
I'll drive the rat rod several miles
Just pick up the phone and dial
Haven't seen you in a while

-AJT
The Rat Rod is a metaphor
The animals that share our earth
Amaze us with their diversity
So many shapes and sizes
Colors and skins
Habitats and patterns of life

These animals who live with us
Sometimes close by
And sometimes far away
Often friendly
Sometimes fierce and wild
Remain part of our heritage

The animals - around our world
Let us honor and respect
Give and receive love
Allowing space for all of us
To thrive and prosper

Don’t love me yet,
I’m just a child.
Break my heart
And make me wild.

Life is like the air;
Always changing, always moving,
We breathe it in with ever-gasping lungs
It sustains us,
Keeps us moving, keeps us going
Keeps us changing.
It flows around us, through us
In us.
...
I love the storm.
It fills the sky with power
Becomes a masterpiece of air;
The wind ripping through the trees,
Swirling skittering leaves left scattered
To dance on wet grey pavement
The unassuming air reigns supreme
Lord of the elements,
Firey and wild
