need to be mindful
of grand larceny
those who involve themselves
with this impropriety
would be scooted off
other writing sites
very promptly

theft is theft
and stealing
is a federal crime
they the perpetrators
bear a shingle
of low down slime
taking other's
copyrighted pieces
always their appalling
paradigm

yet these persons
aren't bought to book
they have a free rein
in employing the purloining hook

plagiarists so bereft
of a writing capacity
nicking your works and mine
*with reprehensible audacity
an errant pirate has been active
in the copying caper
naffing off with other poet's
scripted draper

this person was seen to be doing
some stanza reproduction
using a falsified form of title
introduction

as bold as brass
pinching what takes the fancy
not caring about the original
Nancy or Clancy

those who think that stealing
other writer's material is okay
have need of gearing
their scruples the right way

I know i'm not really myself
when i'm doing this
I'm not quite myself very often
to be honest
but I regret
every single time I wasn't there myself.
I hate this disease
i hate this disorder
and the things it makes me do
when I'm in an island
far away from myself
living in a reality
where stolen things are quite better
than my own
and the moon shines, bitter & anguished
because I stole its shine away
and put it on the star
that lingers in my stolen
rag heart.

Please steal my words
this means
they were of value
maybe worth a penny--
a lost coin on the subway

but at least they
were valuable enough
for someone to claim them,
even if you are poor
and that's the only way
these words matter.

You will set precedent
and from then on--
I will know
that someone has chosen
for me to exist--
that my words captured
at least a part of your soul.

That even me
a wordless fool
who's only skill
is to mumble
was able to
speak to the will
of at least one other person.
Steal me away.  Take my words and hopefully they can bring something special to someone.

Waddley bimbely
Nothing is new.
Sometimes I don’t know
What I should do.
Walkily talkily
Human kazoo.
I have learned better
Than trusting in you.

Whiffily sniffley
Embezzle and lie
Authority snority
Let it go by.
Cheatum and beatum
If they complain
Skim from the top
Buy a new plane.

Hoppity boppity
Games of chance
Always let poor people
Pay for the dance.
Scrappity snappity
Selling their wares
***** about usury
Nobody dares.

Slippity slidery
Constant rendition.
Use public money
To buy politicians.
Graftery crafters
Buy media too.
Make some more billions
To see their way through.

A thing to steal.
I have stolen chocolate,
I have stolen hearts,
I have stolen cameras,
And a fine piece of art.

I have robbed the rich,
And I have robbed the poor,
I have robbed unjustly,
But justly all the more.

I have taken for pleasure,
And I have taken for fun,
I have taken for the mighty thrill,
And just to hurt someone.

I have no fear of getting caught,
I have no fear of being shamed,
I have no fear of Devils worth,
Better sinner than live to name.
