You are my center of the universe,
You are my star that will never fade,
and I will stay with you forever,
even when storms come and you may seem lost to me
believe that I will find you again,
because you are the only one who keeps me alive.

The only thing I want is to hold your hand until we jump into the darkness behind the stars ,where time stands still.

A million bright stars.
In your eyes, calling to me.
Within them I'm free.
Another short haiku (5 7 5)
Emery Feine Sep 2024
I believe we are all stars, and we grow and grow
And we expand until we must blow
And even the brightest, biggest stars in space
Must eventually go

And throughout time
We distance ourselves from our core when in our prime
So when the biggest stars explode, they cause a supernova
And they die to start a new lifetime
this is my 64th poem, written on 12/8/23

Why does stardust formed us humans?
Born from great celestials
Yet fragile like a paper fan;

Many say we are related—
In their glorious death
Our history started,
I find it hard to believe
Cause if so
Then why am I here
Stranded in a planet
Full of grief and sadness;

Stars, why you shine on this mortals?
Is this a whim, or that hope in Pandora's box?

if
my wishes
were stars
the sky
would be bright,
like daytime a magnificent
thing;
granted wishes
fall down
like shooting stars,
ergo
the vault of heaven
would be still,
immovable

i plead to the skies - more, more, more -
the winds howl back in answer to my call.

and each time I cry beneath the stars, i wonder:

did Maker know, when He shaped the heavens,

what the heavens would witness?

for etched into my skin are reminders,

the cold touch,

the burning scent,

the salty taste,
of someone who will block me…
