Gifts. Not all gifts consist of contagious laughs, nor shrieking woes. For most children, they receive joy, and sometimes a coffin for the old. Mine was hard to distinguish even up today. Because it was dressed like a daydream under the sheets of gray. A snowglobe, a sculpture of two faces, the atmosphere that surrounds it like a womb. It felt secure. A city of our dreams where no one can touch. The love that never came to me was there to watch. I remember feeling almost everything to the sound of your breath and fascinating wonders. With you the glitters there form a twister. The figures within will dance until their feet numb. Christmas hums whisper through the effect of the words 'i love you'. And those were the reasons I forgot it was all a lie. I forced myself a sweet lie. Because somehow, I lost the sense of reality. Your hands will never intertwine mine. Your eyes will never see that little world. Eventhough I admit I was fine, I blinded myself in this light. The thought of you managed to make chilly snows as glitter. The colors turned dull as I make out our figure. As if a midnight train, you abandoned our memories at dawn. And your heart making decisions like stone. It was gloomy and cold and funny. The perfect piece of broken melody. So I sing with this gift that you bestow, locking my soul in eternal sorrow.
The happiness you cannot erase

A girl in a snow globe, delights in her world,
she watches, enchanted, as the snow falls down,
it drifts and glides and swirls around
before finally landing upon the ground.
until one day she notices the glass,
and she understands (realizes)  the prison at last.
I may turn this into a longer poem or a short story.

The smoke rises
Inside this cage of glass
Is it snow or paper
You will never know

Your breath fogs up the glass as you stare out
As you stare at me

I can't see you
Tilting my head I smile
How pretty it is
My thoughts

I shake the globe
Watching it snow down
As I cry

Are you crying?
We can cry together
As the snow falls

You're just a figure of my imagination
Yet I cry
As I stare through the glass
Snow globes

That's what they're called
My thoughts
As my breath fogs up the glass
I stare outside
As we watch the snow fall

You know, it's funny how some things manifest themselves from a thought or a sudden feeling.
Like a collection of thoughts that have always known themselves but in a strange twist by invention manifest themself as that same thought or emotion.
For the last 15 minutes your picture has been the best snow globe ever invented!
Actually it's been longer than 15 minutes but the number 15 correlates to the first conversation we ever had.
Taking 15 minutes to realize somethings don't actually need a response.
It's the happening that makes it oh so special.
With every shake I see the snow fall and it sprinkles across your face just like I always pictured it would

Our scope of the world.. no, the universe is like being trapped inside a snowglobe thats trapped inside another snowglobe. Once we break the one we're in, we start to see more layers. There is always more to see.

i walked in not knowing
the storm that would soon be blowing
outside my little bubble
i was deeply in trouble
and when i was inside
it was the perfect place to hide
but not a perfect place to be
