laying and relaxing in my bed
on my pillow and mattress
to comfort my head
a sunday of peacefulness
as the fragrant sheets
subtly put me to sleep
and circulates in the air
a single indent of my derriere
welcomes me back to my lair
as a habitual slumberer
missing the imprint of a partner
while the whirr of technology
taints the atmospheres synergy
i fall asleep in a inane clump
while my subconscious is in charge
and in cessation for a recharge

A simple melody, a yellow rose
A forgotten tragedy, my sweetest repose

A ****** trail, snow white sails
The end of all travail, my sweetest repose

A gentle brook, the sweet warm air
A good old book, my sweetest repose

A grain of sand, a giant oak
The touch of your hand, my sweetest repose

A drop of dew, the evening hue
A day with you, just to name a few
You're my sweetest repose
These are just a few of the things that bring peace upon my soul.

I do not greet the water for I never really left its embrace
Although it evaporated from my skin it never dried from my heart
A familiar chill rests upon me as my body falls below the surface
The water rushes into my lunges like an avalanche of bliss
It fills up every corner of me anchoring my soul deeper
With the waves crashing over me and the waters arms around me
My last breath slips to the surface as I slip into serenity...into my home

My mind is a galaxy I invite you to thoroughly explore
Study the various constellations
That are my thoughts
Look close enough to see that each star is a thought and every one of them seems to be consumed by the image of your face
Look close enough to identify that all the shooting stars I wished upon were already dead
and in the void of fire spots
are the ghosts of previous hopes which float aimlessly
In desperation for fulfilment
A dead hope.
Look close enough to notice that despite the fact my mind is a sky full of luminous points
You are the only light I know
