scissors! rock! paper!

seeing his right hand
can now play games
against his own left hand
and his two eyes
without any tutoring
can wink at each other

this homebound pupil
in the depths of loneliness
ecstatically opens his mouth wide
and sings loudly
a triumphant song
to himself

Sally Looks To Someday Push Buttons

Sally walked the floors of life this year
Each climb up she cautiously lived in fear
She lived on, brink to brink
Week to week, flight or sink
She hopes that her elevator is near

First of all continued prayers and hope everyone is doing well and coping with the pandemic and life.

With recent news that a vaccine for Covid has been found there's are great reasons to celebrate. It's a start. For many of the world a cure would lead back to a normal life. That's would be a kiss on the lips. That would make everyone's heart sing again. For Sally this year has tested her resolve, and idleness, and she looks forward to shifting back into gear

They say they run in packs
with the mighty unicorn.
The stories bridge the boundary
between faith and Internet ****.

Oh, the elusive boyfriend.

I thought I’d hidden one in the closet,
but I rummaged top to bottom
then remembered - argh! -
I lost him last August!
Not only are boyfriends hard to find - in a pandemic - but what are you going to with one anyway??
those eyes
without a face,
your steps
will I trace?
time to
take off the mask,
ready to die?
you ask.
A rendition of Romeo & Juliet, during the pandemic.

126 GOP Representatives signed onto the latest attempt
by **** of Utin and his rumpettes, like Moscow Mitch,
Utin's puppets all, following vlad-the-impaler's orders,
to e'er further press their case for overturning the will
of the people in our recent fair election for President,
to the Supremacy Court, where they were sure their
cries of supposed "irregularities" would win them their
criminally insane day, keep our king-kong sized
terrible-two, who's going on six, illegally installed in
the Black House.  It took the conservative Court but
126 words to bury their megalomania, dreams of grandeur.

350,000 of my and your fellow Americans have been
exterminated by them so far, pandemiced, a purposely
not prevented 9-11-01 terrorist attack's victim's toll
per day, every single minute another murdered
premeditatedly by them, more will have been ended
by them here before this is over than killed by all
our enemies in the entirety of this nation's history,
including their cherished civil war.  Joe's installing
them in his Cabinet, Admin., instead of cleaning house?
How on God's green Earth do they still steal breathe
from the Amazon forests, Gaia's lungs, which they

can't seem to destroy quick enough.  The head of TX's
GOP just said that "...****'s States should secede...",
to paraphrase.  "...We(e),...", say, one and all, please,
we beg of you, do, then we can prosecute and execute
every single one of you members of ****'s int'l crime
family, legal like.  Your talk of secession for going on
a century has obviously been no more than gabbing of
all hat cowboys playing at being men, cowards all.
The Bible says it, "don't covid thy neighbor's wife",
but, I guess you don't read much.  People, as sure as
you live, they will eventually **** you, death be proud!
Happy HanKwanMas.  If Boudica were alive today she'd say, better to live only as long as a May fly, a day, on your feet, than as long as an eagle flies, on your knees.  If it ain't fixed don't break it.  If you're not taking bullets you're making them.  Stay a light, stay alive.  Thanx for the good contest and all you All do.  Have a great day   :)   reality

All customers are required to wear a mask
except
Steve, Yuri, Pablo, Kevin, John, Roy, Bill

All customers are required to wear a mask
except
Mary, Irina, Maria, Karen, Joyce, Tasha, Jill

All customers are required to wear a mask
except
my cousin, my uncle, my grandma, my dad, me, all our dears

All customers are required to wear a mask
except
those we deem immune from our fears

All customers are required to wear a mask
except
when it's inconvenient and uncomfortable to confront others

All customers are required to wear a mask
except
when we're too busy burying our mothers and brothers

I’m living through a pandemic.
The sum of our daily lives has been reduced to monotony
that renders me insane some mornings and free the next.
I awake to news of just-discovered symptoms,
and incoherent ramblings of injecting Lysol from that man
and the susceptible deaths of the poor and the Black –
at least some things never change.
I have come to savor the simple pleasures
of food, fresh air and do-nothings.
Yet, my body finds a craving for chaos,
the feeling of running with your eyes wide shut.
I stay inside, my house and myself,
and feel, feel, feel.
A thing no one has time for in a world for profit.
A thing we have all the time in the world to do these days.

This pandemic
is taking a toll
On our lives
But,
On the bright side
It has also exposed
Many Faces
Wearing "Masks"...

the world is on fire,
but i am at peace.
the situation's dire,
and this year was so bleak.
who knows what twenty one
will have in store?
will this virus be done?
will we go to war?
whatever awaits,
i'll be so okay,
passively accept fate
'cause i am unphased
by trudging though days
that are just as grey
as those filled with rage,
as those filled with pain,
that always lit my way.
