If the world were ending tonight
You'd still make time for me
wouldn't you?
Even if it were all in your head

If the world were ending tonight
you'd still give me the same smile
you always give, right?

No matter the crumbling buildings
& people playing hop scotch
Avoiding the large craters in the earth.

You'd still make time just before
the final impact,
Before we're wiped into oblivion, right?

On top of crumbling cars
& huge chunks of rock.
Even if it were all in your head,
would you still come over & make believe
that everything is alright?

If the world were ending tonight,
would there still be time
to go some place nice,
Even if it were all in your head

I love oblivion
it's harsh sometimes
because it makes me forget
moments of joy, love, and ecstasy

But oblivion helps me heal
it makes me aware that
the past in all its forms
will
never
come
back

Oblivion makes me live
the 'now' and enjoy my present moment

long ago
the dead would drink
from a certain river to forget
their mortal lives

shades and silent voices
populated blank shores
as the dead patiently
waited to forget

their memories vanished into
thin air
yellow heavens
sparkling bits of color
would lighten up
the dark lights of day

shadows scurried from place
to placelessness
voices sighed and you couldn't
tell if it was the sound of last breaths

Eyes to oblivion
The pain will always fade
Mind will go away for a while
And come again when it rains
Dreams will never feel the same
They will bore as much as life
Inspiration will expire
You will not desire
Life will never feel the same
Some things can change your whole outlook on life. Little or small. One thing or multiple things. They can all make you feel numb. Writing helps break this barrier.

Shall I from battered path of life derailed
Into the vast mysterious unknown,
Where every firmament is thin and frailed
And everything to you does seem forlorn?
Where dwells no light, nor dark, nor pungent fire
What either burns or purges stranded souls,
Or where reside the creatures vile and dire
Collecting for the passage golden tolls;
Or shall Through this abyss I ever wander
Along the flowing River of the dead,
Or with my head precociously to plunger,
Myself to the sleek tenants of there fed.
But this is all just aimless reveries
Of one who is bereaved of heaven bliss

How could i fight for something that isn't mine?
Why am I protecting something that I can't have.
I want to win her heart.
I want to hold her tight.

I'm fighting myself to hold back.
But darling its so hard because its you.
You're a 160%...
Where can i find that?

You're worth the fight.
You're worth the punches.
You're worth the damage.
You're worth the struggle.

If you are not mine, and I am giving you this much.
Fighting this much,
Imagine if you were mine, how much more would i fight?
How much more would I give?

I am oblivious to my own limits.
I am oblivious to how this will end.
But whatever the choice, ill stand beside you.
Ill smile from a distance or hold you tight and kiss you.

You're worth the fight.
Wherever this road may lead us.
Everything ends in a heartbreak;
Some heart breaks are more worth it then others!

Just like this.

How to be scared of the unknown
For there is nothing to see or hear;
For us to fear

Knowing a truth, but telling all lies;
Seeing a scute, saying a hide
Hearing a hoot, saying a cry
Feeling a root, saying a snipe

What is seen behind a light
What is seen late at night
What is seen walking alone
What is seen inside a  home

Looking at nothing;
But something in truth
A dark figure
A monster askew,
A hand on the wall
A blur of blue

What is perceived to be;
Is suddenly  true
Says the fox,
With no sympathy for you;
A meal on mind,
Which  makes you food

When fear is analyzed
truth shines through,
Lies realized
A scute
A hoot
A root
A shadow, clear as day
A fan creaking as you lay
A light switch there lay, on the wall at night

The Unknown is oblivion,
For there is no end
See what you want;
Night or day
Clear as water;
Affected by a ripple
A ripple caused by you;
Unhappy with the reflection
There will always be something humans don't know or understand, and we fear that as a whole. We fear what we may never know.
pointless, but true.

i do hope dying is a lot like falling asleep .

its not the pain,
the loneliness
or even the after
i'm afraid of .

i want to melt into an endless oblivion
let me be a star
let me burn until i having nothing left to burn anymore

see,
its the living that scares the hell out of me .
