Her
She was given stacks of money, more than she could see
Diamonds, rubies, and emeralds in her jewelry

She had friends that talked to her day and night
She had parents that never took her out of their sight

She had things that only the richest could afford
Piles of things she wanted on her own accord

Shoes, shirts, and dresses too
Not one day people saw her as blue

People assumed that her riches were her ideology
She was given everything, except an apology
this is my 12th poem, created on 5/30/23

She stepped into a garden with roses galore
She was looking for one, but just needed more

And then she found two, dazzling in sight
Whom puffed up their petals with all their might

Rose One was nostalgic and hated Rose Two
Happy moments were memorable, but only few

Rose Two was two-faced, but made her glad
All she wanted was to not be sad

She took both because she couldn’t decide
She thought she was happy, but at home she cried

She was confused, she had the rose
Was it not the right one she had chose?

Overwhelmed with sadness and pain
She knew one rose could only reign

She looked at her hands, deciding which rose would win
When she saw the thorn that had torn her bloodied skin.
This was the 11th poem I’ve ever written, created on 5/27/23

For bloodlines are linked only by blood
My emotions come out in a drowning flood

We only share a last name
For all these years I’ve fallen fool to your game

No remorse to the ones with the worse
Only greed and fame, it’ll always be the same

We are linked not by love anymore
The stress laid down is like an aching sore

I’ll no longer be trapped in your thickening mud
For bloodlines are linked only by blood
this is the 4th poem i’ve ever written, created on 11/1/22

A friend so fair and bright,
With words that cut like a knife.
They'd stab me in the back,
With lies and deceit in their track.

Their smiling face, a mask of deceit,
Their heart, a pit of greed and hate.
They'd take my trust, and break my heart,
With every word, they'd tear us apart.

Their loyalty, a mirage in the sand,
Their friendship, a poisoned brand.
They'd whisper lies in my ear,
And laugh as I shed a tear.

But still, I'd hold on to the hope,
That one day, they'd change their scope.
That they'd see the harm they've done,
And make amends, before the sun.

But alas, it's just a dream,
For they are lost in their own scheme.
And I am left to weep and mourn,
The loss of a friend, forever torn.

-Eat of the Fat.
But for why?
-Because you have to feed.
Drink of the sweet.
-But for why?
Cause your gluttony is greed.
-Save a portion.
But for why?
-Because your fruitlessness is nigh.
-So save a portion.
But it’s mine.
-Then all of them will die.

In the death of death, created,
In mutual annihilation
Of stars, collapsed and collided:
Gold; buried but not corrupted,
In the earth but not of earth,
Unstained and incorruptible;
A mere symbol, void of value
But idolatry's very roots;
As in reverence for just a name
Without knowledge of what's a name
Or a person's but an image,
For spirit's imperceptible
And unknowable in the flesh.

I'll drop to my knees for you;
You don't even have to ask.
Just let me do this simple task -
let me hear those shuddered gasps.

People think that pouring gold onto our skin,

and dressing in Gods’ gown and Jewlery

will spring angels upon our plate,

and we can feast like it's our last meal.

but our skin is rather useless,

it hides our heart and soul,

drowns it in confusion and

stabs its arms and legs to a cross,

lingering in the single moment,

never to move with the essence of time,

Frozen.

Our hearts are who we are truly,

not the skin we wear,

or the snapshots of their whole existence

we have imagined

to capture the essence of their character.

People are more than a moment,

they are a transcendental soul,

trapped in the weak boundaries of human nature.

Greed's the name
And shame's the game
We played and we couldn't place
The blame.

When fire's a liar
You can hear in a choir
Angels and demons fighting for feelings
Fighting for space
In the name of grace
I played my last ace.

But playing God's a game to lose
And I just prayed I could only find my muse
And forgiven was I, or so I thought
Only to find out his hands are,
Just as cold.

And they don't help how you ask them to
They help how you need and leave your soul blue
Cause it's only you, you've got
And discernment, even that
Can end up feeling like a threat.

Cause your bones are weak and your soul sorrow
And your sight's now seeing just how hollow
It can get, within you, within them
It's never truly, gonna end.

And you just learn to live with it,
Every now and then, throw your heart and bones
Into their deathless pit.
Pain's the earth's favorite stain
I say: "**** your imaginary chain".
