Coming soon to a planet near you
Air we can't breathe
Plants we can't chew
If the EPA has it it's way
The skies will blacken
The rivers will burn
Automobiles will be our ruin
Heat our houses,
Cool our stores
America will still use More and More
Rachel Carson saw this coming our way
Citizens cried enough is enough
It's time we made polluters
Eat their own stuff
Then along came an administrator
Determined to ****
Not only the laws
But the people as well.
Rachel made sure that DDT went away
and by that research
We still have eagles today.
Eagle the symbol of America still
But with more pollution
We are determined to ****.
**** the law and thereby **** the people.
What did God say
"The earth is mine, sayeth the Lord."
That is not exactly what God said. Here are a few verses with what was said concerning taking care of the earth. Isaiah 24:4-6, Job 12:7-10,
Leviticus 25:23-24, Deuteronomy 10:14, Deuteronomy 20:19, Psalms 95:4-5.

Speak to the earth & it'll teach u,
About its beauty and diversity too.

Nature has given so many things to all,
Whether it is oxygen, fruits, vegetables or petrol.

I wish that it could have its own voice,
And it could shout louder than all our noise.

Then it'll mourn on the condition of its own,
Because the things it has given are impossible to clone.

Humans have destroyed all its loveliness and beauty,
& no one is ready to say, "Saving nature is my duty."

We don't know that destroying nature is killing ourselves,
And natural things look more beautiful in forests than in our shelves.

So from today let us pledge to save nature,
It'll not only help us but all other living creatures.
Saving nature should be our duty. We all keep destroying it but no one takes the step in saving nature. That's why I guess if nature had its own voice, it would have cried over its current condition.

Walking along the beach,
a lone surfer prepares for
his battle with the Atlantic ocean.
Waves, thick and heavy from
bitter cold and climate change.

A rush of momentary fear and oxygen
courses densely through his veins as he
paddles out to the 9 foot walls swelling
with tremendous energy and power and
crashing overhead, the surfer searches for
solace in the silence beneath the wave.

Blasts of slushy water numb his face,
rejoicing at the crispness of outside air
reminding him how it feels to be alive
in the moment, patiently positioning himself
to catch that one, perfect wave.

His body numb from freezing salt water
seeping into his wetsuit sends shivers
forcing every ounce of energy to the forefront
as the zenith of his performance comes with
thick, frothy wave charging behind him.

He drops in to the face of the mountain of water
chasing him through the thumping tube,
pumping through the barrel, gaining speed for his exit,
he shoots through the gap and coasts to shore.

Never looking back, always forward with smile wide,
heart full, body drained and temporary enlightenment, he ponders
"it was another successful surf session,"
as he drives off toward the
setting summer sun.

If only I had
Basked in all your legacy
Before you were slain,
Gushing sap from your thick skin,
I would have cherished you more.

A tanka I wrote today after mourning the death of an old tree taken down in my yard.

Her crystal clear and blue eyes had now turned grey on oil being splashed on them.
Her beautiful golden brown complexion, which had a natural Green Blush was now full of scars and wounds caused by the horrible effluents and industries, and was infested with these Tiny Terrible Parasites who ****** out Her richness like a blood-thirsty leech.
Her ears had turned deaf dealing with all this chaos happening around her.
She even had hair loss as Her beautiful Ozone hair deteriorated with the forced hair colour of Greenhouse Gases.
And Her mouth? Well she had hardly been given any time to speak.
This poem talks about the current state of Mother Earth in a symbolic way.

Animals, animals
Here and there
I can see them
Everywhere

They are even
In the air
But most people
Do not care

We must stop killing them
For the wrong reasons
Send all poachers
Into a prison

I love animals
Animals love me
Just looking at them
Fills me with glee

Every single animal
Is a beaute
All of them to me
Are very cute

Animals, animals
Everywhere
Love each one of them
That's your dare.
A Chinese
lawyer he's
existent that
baldly wishes
his FoE
with big
kong will
only burgle
liars  to
sell their
goods at
market if
he'd wise
the climate
by dawn
or else
heed abroad
