I was left on the steps
and I walked these streets
but they weren't made for me
so I walked the sidewalks

for the longest time
I looked and I searched
for a place to call home
and I found your heart

it was open and warm
and oh so inviting
I thought I could stay
for just a little while

but after just a few moments
I knew
that I could never leave
for this is my place

your warm heart
is the perfect home
for my cold hands
you keep me warm

your solid strength
is the right place
for my weakened frame
you keep me strong

I will never be thrown out
I will always have a spot
you are always home
to sing me to sleep

you watch over me
oh my guardian angel
for your heart
is my one true home
Who was the last to wear your body?

Parting petals upon modest fingertips

Supple mouth which you tumbled willing

And gulped until tamed .
Laid steamed and wet awaiting the sun

to bellow through curtains
as the
scene laid out
like an easy

against blushing skin,

swallowed eyes over

beauty,

naked lips,

heart beating;

leaping

over

the mans smile.

Raw nature,
turning,
the slipping
crease among eyes

captures moisture

dew drops

over
window
seals,

steaming

calling

coming

closer

fingers
titillating
wet skin

rubbing

itching

body
moving

echoes crawling

screaming

So many times
Trying to turn reasons
Into rhymes
Newest muse
Desperate attempt
Only to fall short
As soon as attention
Noticed
Wide eyed girl
Obsessed may I
Lacking depth
As soon as
Emotions copied
Or furthermore
Replaced
Gravity
With weights and stools
Climbing higher
Reaching further
Grasping air
While the painted red smile
Walked further north
And the Abled girl
With wide frames; golden bay
Lingered patterned
Against broken scooters and watched
While I made a fool over feet
In autumn leaves and new beginnings
You held my arm
While minds wander
Of heavenly thought
Of what it would be like
To hold your hand
And not mess it up
With my idiotic tongue
And presumptuous lip
Always rushing
Like one constant race
When the rules
Clearly states
Walk not run
Try to slow my tracking feet
From making another big leap
Intensively driven
Pretty glass eyes girl
Did you want me to admit my defeat?

Where the skylights meet the highway
Where the rubber meets the road
Hell in my rearview mirror
And my mind on overload
Can’t outrun the ticking clock
Or distance myself from destiny
Spun out in the middle of my life
By the reckless heart inside of me

Drag myself from under this wreckage
Can’t say I feel no pain
Only a matter of moments I’ll be
In another hit and run again
Speeding cars they never stop
Just because you forfeit the race
Clear the track and they go round again
A faster car to take your place

This blur of life makes me slam my breaks
I was never built for speed
Cut the nitrous and the adrenaline
There’s something more that I need
Calling out over the roar of the engines
Shut the door and throw out the key
Walk away from this race to nowhere
There’s a better path that waits for me

Air
I'm at a loss of words
Breathing
Heart beating
Faster and faster
Warm breath collides
Lifeless
Warm and fleeting
A body
A corpse
Rotting disaster
Maggots dig in
We melt in the ground
Branching out
Plants
Life
Lifeless
A gravestone
Sign your name on the x
And breathe
