Words do not echo.
Words do not cry.
Words do not,
Identify.

Scrambled and stirred,
Frozen and baked.
Pulled when needed,
Eaten to be fed.

Pieced together,
Black or white,
Laugh or fight,
Wrong or right.

A sound is bound by key,
A picture by color pigments,
Emotions chemically,
But words contain,
Everything,
And absolutely,
Nothing.

The same word
Can be
Completely
Different,
Depending who, what, how
When it was read
Or written.

What if every word,
Was positive in meaning?
Harmless,
Could not
Destroy feelings.

Words have no senses.
Words have no bounds.
No touch, sight, taste, or smell.
Words have no sound.

Words have no sound.
Unless read aloud.
Why was leaving me as easy and ugly as taking off velcro shoes. It made that tearing noise too. I don't feel so good. I lost my appetite. She said leave me alone and my heart sped up and then it flat lined. I keep telling my dog I'm clairvoyant. That I always knew I'd end up this disappointed. Gutted. Just like a fish. Just as messy, not so tragic.
My first poem since july, yikes.

Anomaly
I covered my wall with old photos
So that when I lay alone at night
I’m not
So
Alone.

Thinking it would fill
That empty void in my heart.
That black hole.
But rather,
It just added more fuel to the flames.
That burning desire
To not
Be
Alone.

But I can’t help it.
Loneliness comes naturally to me.
As If it were in my DNA.
My veins.

I separate myself from everyone else.
The only friends I have now
Are the face of those plastered on my wall.
The greatest joke of them all;
As if I could fool myself into thinking
That those faces could comfort this lonely soul.
To the photos which hold my dearest memories. Those unforgettable moments. Long gone but still here in my heart.

You
I love the night, as much as I love you
I love the flower, as much as I love your smell
I love the song, as much as I love your voice
I love to make laugh, as much as I love your smile

I love brown, as much as I love your eyes
I love the wild, as much as I love your body
I love poems, as much as I love your words
I love the waves, as much as I love your hair

I love sunset, as much as I love your touch
I love home, as much as I love your existence
I love precious things, as much as I love you
and i love your flaws too...
Don't leave the bottle out for the alcoholic,
who's in the midst of losing grip

Don't tempt the former addict,
who's mind can't stop craving the next drip

Don't smoke in front of the smoker,
who swears they've finally quit

Don't lend money to the gambler,
as temptation persistently insists

Don't even touch the *** addict,
cause at first, it's always bliss.
Addiction isn't just something that happens, it's something that is.
each of us have our poisons in that regard, from those things we cant resist.
