I’ll live my life in a way that
no people will notice my absence
that no people will care about my presence

I’ll live my life in a way
I’m just a floating spirit -
I’ll come and go, just like the rain

Rain because
I still want be to
of a certain burden;

Rain because
you’ll still see traces of me
even though I’ve stopped coming

And then
I’ll evaporate
no longer nuisance

But I’ll remind you
from time and again
through my resonance

And on certain days
you will love me

And on most days after
you will miss me better

We are taught to conceal aspects of ourselves,
When they do not fit society's perception of normal.
Even the negative aspects that ought to be dealt with,
We conceal in a steadfast way, making them more formal.

Denying something makes it stronger,
Even when it is an awful thing.
That is why acceptance and appropriate action is warranted,
Rather than these same songs of denial we sing.

Mental programming, it is killing us all.
Mental programming, it is how we fall.
Mental programming, what an insistent call.
Mental programming - we must stand tall.

vs.
it's a shame
that we cannot
appreciate
what others have
without comparison
word: shame

to begin is always scary
difficult and beyond grasp
to stay stagnant however;
dreaming the same dream
and not doing anything
afraid of change and discoveries
unwilling to fly
I guess it is more frightening
Than taking the first steps
That would lead you
To wherever
As long as it is not the same place.

The world is such a lonesome place, filled with shades of black and white, filled with catastrophe and despair

Challenges do not always get easier, criticism does not always get quieter, people do not always get nicer

But in these moments of sadness, gloominess, and adversity
Look inside yourself and find courage

Make your challenges into stepping stones, take the criticism with a grain of salt, forget about those who do not treat you right

For in the end, all that matters is who you are, and if you like who you have become.
