I know that you may not love me
And i hope that now you feel free
I know i'm not something you miss
But I still long for one more kiss
And i cant see cause everything is a blur
Cause I know that you love her
If missing you is a crime
then lock me away i'll do my time
If you could hold me one more time
I would promise to never make another rhyme
I know that you may not love me

Hello there,
Its been a while.
Did you miss me?..
Of course you did,
We're old friends after all.

I'll admit,
I'm a bit disappointed.
You tried to ignore me for a while,
Tried to shut me out.

Did you forget so easily?
You need me to survive, remember?
I am part of you,
I always have been.

May as well face it,
You’re stuck with me.
Just let me take control...
It’ll be easier that way.

I promise I won't hurt you.
I'll be gentle.
After a while,
You might forget that I'm even there.

I'll reintroduce myself,
Since it's been a while.
Hello there,
My name is Mr. Anxiety.

And I missed you, oh so dearly.
Because everyone knows this old friend..

... like obscure fuzz is surrounding my body
its the channel on the TV
that is black and white static
with the sound of no sound
taking away my ability
to hear the cheery banter
of the normal, tranquil people
who must be here
somewhere around me.

The ever buzzing fuzzing
static anxiety takes away
my ability to see
the people and things
that used to make me smile.

And I can't hear myself think
Over the sound my heart
beating intensely in an attempt
to get the hell out of me

Out of this corpse inside
the obscure buzzing fuzzy
static electri-city
that shares a name with me.

This hostile prison
I live in. The bars made
of the absolute worst
possibilities encapsulating me

The bars of fear and the
fuzzy buzzing static
stealing my time and tearing
the breath from my lungs

It's called anxiety.
The light you bring to our friendship
is indescribable. It’s like a melody
that makes me smile every time I hear.
You could’ve burned me from the start,
but instead showed a gentle glow.
It allowed me to gain a deeper
and larger view of the world.
We walk different paths,
see life in different ways,
but make each other better.
Remember you’re powerful enough to burn
through all the storms of life.
To one of my best friends

This time I promise to do better
Hold you closer to my heart
I was a fool for losing you forever
Sorry was the word that tore us apart

This time we will stay together
I swear to cherish every day
My eyes have cried ever since our ties severed
Ever since the day you went away
maybe a little off, but I find it hard to get good rhymes flow and make perfect sense in an acrostic poem

my aim is to put a face on the faceless
making statements for wasted cases
i take myself into forsaken spaces
all for the sake to escape those places

a fate to make shapes out of shapeless
creating grace on pages as my basis
a campaign to replace the fake embraces
leaving the traces that no eraser erases
