We all speak the same language
but communication is dead.
A barrier of understanding
built from graphite and lead.
An impasse of meaning
wreaks havoc in our heads.
We all speak the same language
yet,
I don't know what you said.

Your poetry's a symphony
Every line a new note.
You voice weaves a melody
Each syllable brings hope.
For poets have a magic
No other artist knows.
A way with emotions
A window to souls.

I confuse people
And I filter things
I breathe in
The silver dust of clouds
And breathe out
Golden rays of sun

I take in myself
The bad words and
Negative
Thoughts
And out of my mouth
I spill the poems
Of the Earth
And the songs of peace

Nobody understands
How I work
How I filter
Everything
Into a daydream

But
Years pass, and
Filters get *****
Nobody understands
That
I keep everything
In myself

Nothing lasts forever
More time had passed
Before I
Was ready to be thrown
Away

I took my
Final breath
Held it in
And as I was looking in the sky
I breathed out
And watched all the
Black, negative energy
Pollute the
Dying sky

Don't tell a rose how to grow,
And The birds how to chirp.
Don't tell your daughter to be soft,
Don't tell your son how to hurt.

Don't tell the sky what color to bleed,
And a person, the right way to grieve.
Don't try to tame your daughter's tongue,
Don't tell your son the manly ways to love.

Don't tell the wind which way to blow
Or the clouds how hard to rain.
Don't teach your daughter how to soak,
Don't show your son how to easily reject.

Don't tell the sun to adjust its light
Or the truth how to show itself.
Don't tell your daughter it's feminine to shy,
Don't teach your son how to reign with fists held high.

Don't tell a heart how to beat
Or the mind how not to soar.
Don't clip off your daughter's  wings,
To make them a foundation for your son to grow.

Don't tell a rose how to grow,
Lest it decides to turn its petal into thorns.
Don't tell the birds how to chirp
And have their voices turn into rebellious growls.
Finally, one of my many poems was chosen as a daily.
Just been a 5 years.

I still can't believe it.

Also, thank you for all your reviews and love. I still don't think I'm a poet, I just usually ramble. But I'm so glad you guys gave this poem such love.
Means a lot.

Again, thank you very very much.

You cannot perceive a rainbow without an array of colour,
Or know the majesty of colour, for it being bereft of rainbow,
You cannot conceive of a single soul,
Without knowledge of the divine source from which its zest blows.
Could you see the pearl in the moon without the rust of the red burnished sun?
Through which the cosmic fires run,
You could not be moved power of a single rhyme,
Lest you see how it's spilling in to the cosmic song, dancing throughout time.
Long live one truth, to which I am devote,
The world is a myth, the cosmos our home, souls reared on a spiritual outpost suspended on a light mote.
One creation adorned by flowering hearts - kin and twin - that cross on path of bliss,
Every mind wants to know what every other saw, prithee tell how you see like this.
Beaming, beating, bubbling hearts, waltz through the flowering universe,
The poet cries end of Love's dearth, and communicate its joys in verse,
Now thou hast give me the knowledge of my path towards eternal delight,
In knowledge of the unity of all things I will source my light, take flight, and fight.

The complexity of something simple in appearance. the attractiveness of something true in its deepest form. Beauty.

You are humanities angel,
as you walk on earth in human form.

You’re a gift to many
as you give aid to those who gather at your table.

You are like hug of air that caresses ones consciousness
to awaken to know who everyone is, divine.

You are a beacon for hope, prosperity, good health, and bliss
as your deeds enlighten.

You are the guides, ancestors, and beings of light who stand in dimensions ready to assist inside a prayer.

You are the Light-worker, Lecturer, teacher, Nutritionist, Healer, Star-seed and sage that has come to help all at this time.

I am grateful to those who have come.
I am grateful for those in different realms.
And I am grateful to you the reader who begins their journey awake alive and to realigned with the birthright of freedom.

I'm actually wondering
Why poems are mostly sad

Contains our loneliness,

Reveals our pained and broken hearts

Unfolds our depression and anxieties

Tells the story of how you are left behind

Says the words and feelings unspoken

Shows are darkest thoughts and emotions

Maybe poems are mostly sad
Because happiness is easy to show
But our sadness is for our heart's ink and papers alone

Maybe poems are mostly sad
Because this is the only way how to make
A messy mind and soul into a beautiful work of art

While poems are mostly sad
At least it doesn't make us feel lonely
There's that comforting side that makes us go on with life

When you're reading other people's work and you're thinking

That you exactly feel the same

That, finally, someone put your thoughts into words

That someone also goes through what you're going through

That, at least, you are not alone

So maybe sad poems aren't always totally sad poems
Maybe sad poems got that tiny bit of happiness in it

*Maybe sad poems aren't just sad
Maybe sad poems are actually a silent type of a happy poem
For most of my poems are sad poems or love poems...

Dude with an Afro
My attire, flyer than a kite
Bellowing higher
Floating, but ******
Sober, I'm told
The only state I'm in
Ain't about sin
Just a means to avoid
a loose mind
Of a multiple kind
Where happy and mad coincide
Follow me through the workings,

Go inside.

Where the mood pendulates
side to side
With reckless abandon.

Manifest in a man
To have childish tantrums
Self righteous in  his self deprecating anthems
To spring one's phantoms alive.

This, I strive to evade
I hide, but to save
No one else, but me.

Everyman for himself!

The mantra (sadly) of anyone seeking to be Free!
