Sometimes it's a big question
What should I choose as option
Nature is too vast
Memories to me do not much last
Imagination is rather fast
Language turns as obstacle
Wait patiently for some miracle
So should I write or not
Or remain silent apart
Like Hamlet proposes to be or not to be
I must remain calm as to be

dear you,
i’m writing this
to ask you
to plead you
to beg you,

please stay with me
for one last time
before it all
comes to an end.

i look forward
to your prompt reply.
regards,
me.
structures are good, things that don't change are good.
Life throws,
a filthy shade,
a crate of lemons,
a mess unmade.

Life makes,
a sailor great,
lemonade,
a near parade.

All at once,
Once and for all,
No things remain
The same
—The sane.
here’s to the mess we made of ourselves this year. since all the best people lose a bit of sanity for felicity.

In our arrogance
We must admit
The disqualifications
Of our wits
The foundation
Of our operative minds
Subjectively trapped
In space and time

A claim to know
A mere belief
Ripened, fallen
Dying leaf
Landing on
The forest floor
There my love
I know no more

Here
After the fire
These were the things I lost:
Vestiges

A left arm
Withering smile
Eyes...gone. Glassy

Extinguished smoke
Faraway laughter
Months old ghostly touches

The lies
Whispered,
All of them
My cut//out tongue

Lastly,
The burned contract
Curled, charred paper
Reeking of a never-was union
A penned epilogue of a never-was union, a never-was relationship.

Underneath the stand of cedars,
Leaf litter clothes the ground

When a foot touches down,
It is nestled in leaves and needles.

The silence of the ground
Magnifies the volume of the wind.
