If there's a land that's called tomorrow
and it lies across the sea,
I'd like to find a boat to borrow-
I can bring you there with me.
For everyone who's struggling to find their tomorrow. :)

Call Me Satan
I'm sick of the fall
when I try to fly
I'm sick of the let-downs
and regular goodbyes

I'm sick of the lying
scheming and deceiving
sick of depression
illness and under-eating

I'm tired of living
in a misshapen society
I'm tired of myself
and my constant anxiety

I can't help but think
if I just slipped away
would anyone care
or ask me to stay?

For he says I'm his love
then leaves the next day
meets another dreadful hook-up
and presumes I'm okay

Well, I'm done with the deluding
I'm done with the cheating
I'm done with my heart
and I'm done with its beating.

Once upon a time
there was a beautiful time
in a beautiful place
when people were happy
and little boys sang in the streets
and little girls were not afraid to fall in love.

And everyone thought that beautiful time
and that beautiful place
were entirely the work of fiction
until someone said to them

Make that your time.
Make it here.
Make it now.

And them they took the happiness in both hands and rode it
felt the breeze of contentment blow them kisses in the moonlight
wrapped the cloak of serenity around their gowns of blissful ease
embraced the long forgotten warmth of rapture and never let it go
and they
sang in the streets.
and they
fell in love with the next person they laid eyes on
and they

*Made it happen.
Happen here.
Happen now.

When I was a child I was depressed, and
my father would tell me that
"There's a silver lining to every storm cloud.
You just need to find it."

The world needs to realise that
there is no silver lining to
the storm cloud of depression
or the thunder of disease.

It's not hidden.
It's not waiting around the corner, ready to jump out.
It's not going to suddenly change fate, a miracle cure.
It's not been found because it is not there.

It never was.

If laughter be the currency of the soul
I do not have enough to buy
a lamp to chase the
shadow from my
heart.

She was broken
And she acknowledged it.

But what does that mean?
A broken human is surely different
From a broken toy.

You cannot replace the batteries
Or superglue the cracks.

What does it mean to be broken?
It means to be human.
And not quite fixable.
This feels unfinished. Or unfixable.

I think you should be friends with the devil and learn his ways
As it is not only he who is filled with evil
Evil roams the earth in a mist full glow
Though some cannot see it, through the peaceful snow
The cold shivers runs through my veins right to the heart
Of power and love and tears it all apart
It has overtaken you, have you not learned
I taught you to fight for what you believe in
To explode in the presence of darkness
But you have failed me
You let them in
They tore you apart
Muscle from skin
I bet your wondering why it all went down
Took you from who you were, to now
Lost in your mind lying on the ground
Society will hurt you and hunt you down
My first post :)
