My soul is old and has travelled through time

Seen the ages of man and felt the divine.

Smelt the fires of the holocaust

Witnessed the horror of what was lost,

Heard the cries of babies new born

Sat and watched the sun of dawn

If you choose to tread the path divine

let go of hate and let love shine.
Why can't you see
The beauty that I do
I swear you're so amazing
In all that you do

But you focus on your flaws
Scratching yourself with your own claws
But I see someone special
But you let insecurities boil like a hot kettle

Where you see weakness I see strength
Where I reach out you pull away with a feint
Where you see ugliness I see beauty
Even though you don't believe me when I say so, that you think it's my duty

It's so frustrating when someone is so special
But they can't see it?
Can you see what I see?  I hope you will, you won't regret it
sitting in the bus
I hold these moments dear
maybe if im silent the time will slowly still
looking out the window it doesn't slow the pace
just tell me im not someone who will be surly be replaced
I don't know any words to ease your pain today
all I know is that soon ill be on my way

Cara
We are all going to die.
We are all going to be forgotten.
It doesn't matter if your grave is six feet deep and three feet wide,
Or if your body was slung over the side,
of a boat in motion
from hands devoid of emotion
We all end up just the same.
Decayed and rotten.
Forgotten.
If that isn't Equality,
I don't know what is.
I am more interested in your demons at 2am,
Than I am of the person you pretend to be at 2pm.
I cannot believe how easy for you it was
To wrap your hand around my heart
Like a snake with a vicious grip
You're holding me tight
And the venom you spread in me
Is a poison I have tasted before
Sweet and addictive it turns to acid
When withdrawal hits and you run away
All I will be left with is regret,
The firm print of hope against my soul,
The cold shadow of hopelessness following my steps,
And the words you said
That made me laugh once
But make me cry now
I cannot believe how easy for you it was
To release me and slither away
As if I never mattered at all
As if I never existed at all
