oni
you called me beautiful
but once you grew to know me
you were quick to tell me
that i was not

and that says more
about you
than it does
about my beauty
i come with baggage
more than i can hold, i pray
that you are stronger

I left the horizons
  for fear I would miss
    the evening stars set there
      so if your horizon sinks
        to the abyss
mine are all here for us both to share.

I captured the starlight
  to jewel my eyes
and dazzle the folks who'd see,
      but should your eyes tire
        of empty skies
I'll glitter them fain with stars for thee.

qi
the laddering of my ribs creak
like water-stained cherrywood stairs;
tread lightly, lest you
stir the dust and the ghosts
that dwell underfoot,
‘neath the cracked floorboards
of my skin.

i have but a simple request:
               rid yourself of your lungs
and fill up the empty spaces
               with used coffee filters,
               crinkled wrapping paper, and
               forlorn hope. do
cast aside
               the shroud of indecision?, for
               that winding sheet will only
               hold you down between
               your shoulderblades, like
               framed butterflies pinned on paper
with needles of stone and salt.

stay with me tonight.
we will be taxidermy birds
on marionette strings
with crumbled concrete
between our talons,
the afterimages
of neon diner signs
stamped into our inner eyelids
oscillating, phantasmic.

we'll sing elegies in spring
rock sugar on our tongues—
               there are staves of music
written in the lining of your mouth
and in the webbing of your hands
––as Sappho might say:
girls, sweetvoiced.

oh! but to think
that the starfire in your eyes
could be extinguished
by the tears you shed;
i’ll return my heart to the constellations
for you
posting content??? in MY account?????? it's more likely than you think

would you give it a rest?
I know our lives are hard
but I think we have it best
Yeah there's the periods
And we want to look a certain way
But I'd rather deal with that
than a pair of *****
that rub against my thighs all day
Let's here it for the guys!

You may not like my poetry
You may not like the rhyme

It does not need to suit you
To me its not a crime

To me it’s something that  I do
To while away the hours.

I do not write it just for you
It isn’t for your flowers

So if you do not like my taste
Please kindly pass me by

and go with speed and all your haste
and do not spend your  time

For time is very precious
and yours is not to waste
