You're the shooting star
That I've wished upon for so long.
A thousand times and more,
I closed my eyes, as I crossed my fingers
Whispering your name;
That somehow, in some way,
The heavens would listen.

A bargain of that cosmic chance I'll take,
If it's all for your sake.
So let me be an astronomer
Who wants to hold your hand,
Because heavenly is what you are;
My love, please don't forget,
That heavenly is what you are.

Its true.*

We live for eternity.
We all live even after death.
Forever and a day* after that.

And when I die
You'll still find me living.
In the trees and in the air.

In the mountains,
And in the waves on moist mud
Driven by the breath of Earth.

And after the world dies,
You'll find me in empty space.
Or perhaps near an asteroid.

And...after the universe dies,
I'll be either in a crammed cosmic egg
Or in a torn and still place.

Its not a promise of immortality
Not even anything about a soul.
(Because I don't know what is a soul
And thus can't express it through words)
But its a promise of eternity
Which shall never be broken.

Because its a promise we have made
To ourselves.

He was my host—he was my guest,
I never to this day
If I invited him could tell,
Or he invited me.

So infinite our *******
So intimate, indeed,
Analysis as capsule seemed
To keeper of the seed.

My eyes wide,
Drooling like a fiend,
over the very thing,
I vowed to forget,
Infatuated with the rush,
And the high I've been chasing,
In between dreams and reality,
Lies all my sinful pleasures,
These voices scratch at my skull,
Their words insistent,
Protect me from my faults,
And the corruption they bring
You
Every cut, new and old.
Every drop of warm blood.
Every salty tear.
Every suicidal thought.
Everything traces itself back to you.

You, who beat me till I broke.
You, who ***** me to hear my screams.
You, who said "I love you" everyday.
You, who created the monster inside of me.
Float through the milky way.
Watch a star die.
Ask for a love song from an alien.

Dance around Saturn on it's rings.
Rearrange the stars to spell your name.
Anything for you, My love could fill space.
