Some call me romantic
But I don’t think that’s true
I just write down these feelings
I have inside for you

I have no formal training
No poetry degree
Just a pen and paper
I keep in front of me

So when I think about you
Which happens all the time
I scribble out some phrases
That often seem to rhyme

Perhaps they look like verses
They’re kept in groups of four
And filled with my affection
For someone I adore

And yes some are poetic
Though that is not my plan
I just want you forever
I want to be your man

Okay…they sound romantic
And maybe I am too
But it’s not really all that hard
To write down I love you

I stand up and slowly, ever slowly, move toward the edge.
One or two steps per half or quarter minute.
When I reach the edge a golden stream will hit the ground.
Behind that tree, the sun mimicks me.

When I think I'm done,
a new target is found
i think it's just me being in love with the idea of being in love. *sighs*
I won't tell you he was just a little odd,

he was very odd, for obvious reasons.

The troll boy he was called, was very tall.

"How tall "? you ask, the tallest of them all,

and above his waist none would ever rise.

His long hair upwards would grow, like

gravity with him was playing a cruel joke,

adding many more inches to his height

and like a bristle brush painting the sky,

His hair with every dawn like the sun would

glow, warm orange, and bright red but every

night the glow subside to the moon's bright white.

Please, go ahead

Tie that glossy pink ribbon around my ribs
Dress me in Anorexia's skin
Pour your poison into my blood
Whisper to me that pain is beauty

I won't let you overtake me
I will stretch your fabric over my pearl bones
I will wear you like an armor
For I'm a soldier
You are the war inside me

A black rose with thorns blooming in my middle

I will cut your stem and wear it as a crown
I was built for this battle
I will win

For you taught me how

Days in agony
Radiation embracing me with nausea's dance
You stole my hair
You tried to steal my beauty

My confidence
My love
My peace
My life

But I'm still here
Each fight only brings me closer to my award

So thank you for my ribbon
Thank you for my black rose
Thank you for my inner wings
I can fly now

For freedom is mine

Strawberry Aster
Kiss me
Neath the summer lit sky
of crimson pink
and glory gold

Say my name
with that sweet tremble
of caution
and delight

Chase me
Catch me
Caress me
Cherish me

And you will know
what it is like to have
all the Seasons
embrace you all at once~

I skip my steps
when off to school,
In circles of lads
I hear only you.

at the dance hall
I could not breathe,
you with another
and softy I plead,

will you not notice
my hair so dressed
won't you allow me,
bright end to unrest

each sun, the rain,
each morn the lark

each day blind eyes,
each cry drops night

because of black hair
the crow will nae fly,
white shells your skin,
white bird of my eyes.

so far beyond banks,
my heart out to sea,
will you not notice,
my cry, dear laddie?
