I just wish that I could hear your voice all the time.
Not really poetic, I'm just really infatuated.
This TV is so fuzzy
I can barely make out
The subtitles
Why is the text white
When the background
Is mostly white too?
It's just weird
Odd - the things I see
The things I feel
And the things I dream
How funny does that sound?
Funny, but not humorous
I'll rest on that
Though
Laugh my way
Through
And it'll be alright
It usually is
But these dreams of something
Are pervasive
For sure.
The pills have gotten easier to swallow
And my anxiety has gotten quieter
But the sadness is still there
Amplified
And I try not to cry in public
But there is always that one tear that escapes
A runaway
And I wish I could follow its lead
And escape this world
Escape the shackles of time
For what is the reason of existing?
If existing is all you do?
Bold and blunt;
soft, and we romanticize the taste.
Tracing the curves -
valleys among mocha plains -
and passion reverberates
deep within the shade.

Innocence is corrupted
(we've all reached for forbidden fruit)
and it tastes as sweet as
You pass yourself off to be.

The draw of your baby blue eyes and
the pink of your naked lips
offer a look into what you used to be
or might have been.

But I suppose some sort of
saint
or
sin
came around and darkened the tint;
seductive and sultry,
and everybody wants a chance...

And I bet You know it.

You're the eyelash
                                                                    scraping against my eye.

One day I'll carve you out
and blow you gently into the breeze.

                                            Or, with bloodshot eyes,
                               I'll well indifferent tears
and stream you down a cheek.

I'll make you the wish I swore you to be.
