If my mind were a galaxy,
You would be every twinkling star,
Every asteroid in the belt, every racing comet,
And every moon orbiting the planets.

If my mind were the ocean,
You’d be the billions of water molecules,
The crashing waves, the grains of salt,
And the infinite number of fishes.

But if your mind were either of these,
I’d be but a speck of space dust,
And a creature in the deep abyss;
Invisible and almost non-existent.

My vulnerable heart beats just for you,
In tune with your every breath and step,
Its steady rhythm will always ring true,
For your love my heart will always be kept,

Mysterious beauty filled with pure bliss,
Your mesmerizing eyes they shine and gleam,
Deep and inspired our fortunes they kiss,
Reflecting bright shades of emerald green,

Strong yet calm your voice like a steady tide,
The words you gently whisper in my ear,
Masculine, mature cannot be disguised,
Relieve my timid heart of quiet fears,

But my lost heart cannot sing evermore,
Without you here to cherish and adore

There was a time yours
meant a lot to me,
but now they run
over and over
in my mind
on repeat,
haunting me.
Like a hit and run driver,
tax disk empty.
Is that what all
those deep words
filling up
my glass were?

Empty.
Cruel how words last centuries.
Coming from a writer it sounds like an odd thing but for me any way they really don't mean much without the Action..Or perhaps the words are an action in themselves...

Lost Sight in life
Though I'm not Blind

ConsideRate
Yet I'm not paid in Kind

Now I'm Lost
As I searched to Find

I gave it Heart
Only to lose my Mind.
