My heart is mine
But mostly its yours
And I won't forgive you
Because I won't know how to forget
That my heart is mine
But mostly it's yours
I can trace where too many good women have gone to die
And all you left us with
Was your agitated pacing

To the world you're just a rose
To me you're my one and only
You weep because you don't feel loved
You ask to be held so I hold you tightly
Your thorns cause my blood to spill
I try not to think of the pain it causes
I hold tighter and you cry louder
And nothing seems to make you blossom
And this may not be worth it for me
But you still ask to be loved and held
But I do it and you can't recognize it

A twinle in your eye
A glimmer in the sky
That's exactly when I knew
I had fallen in love with you

Once.

Once upon a time,
there was a me and you,
happiness rang like chimes,
and our smiles did so too.
No bizarre moment flared,
nor sadness overthrew,
we were simply scared,
that our feeling'll be *******.
They named us liar and a fake,
cause we seemed too perfect,
so for our own sake,
we pretended there was no effect.
Yet a little too late were we,
to realize the truth of us all,
so desperate to suppress what we see,
that didn't notice we had fall.
We swayed and drifted,
and parted with a crime,
that scarred as we shifted,
but that was just once upon a time.
I don't regret anything.

Truly,
The stories and songs fall short of your beauty
Truly,
your beauty surpasses even the largest sea

You
run your(selves)
foaming
over imperfect
jagged
boulders
water
healing, abrading,
breaking me
into round
handfuls of
careful heft,
scattered along
freshly carved
sandy bends
(where more
than a few are
said to have
struck gold),
waiting for
wanderers
to seek a stone
that fits
and skip it
onetwothreefourfivesixdang
across peaceful you
calming as we
luxuriate,
spread out,
slow the flow
inevitable
inexorable
loss of us
both into
impassive
sea
For the peace-bringers in my life...thank you.

levy the ports
         the burnt ice is looming

plant an ear to the soil
    and hear rain forests singing

in chainsaw lullabies

oh, what a wonderful world

Sirius is dingy
