Nona Green
the way the syllables tripped off her tongue
like an unkept secret, or a phone that only rung
and the way that she trudged, without her feet
a colossal blizzard, a war ending in defeat
but it wasn't her heart, it was her mind
a clock that stopped ticking, visions gone blind
she cant help but ponder who she would be
if the apple had just fallen, away from the tree

After all this.
I was only meant to die.

not even a speck of dust,
in this entire universe,
I am an indistinct part of the dark night sky

I still think of the time we spent together
It seemed so endless.
The finitude of the moment
Made our love taste sweet.
The misfortune was-
It only tasted so
once the moment
Was complete.

dragging around
this melancholy heart
looking for lost places

i guess i lost myself
a little too much
in you this time.
- shame on me.
