It's amazing
It's beauty as much as we try, can't be defined
Beautiful as a blossoming flower
Then it withers
For it never lasts

Sometimes,
I want to be beaten
in a sleeping
bag
feel the bruises full of pulp bloat
then drag

I can see this dark figure
sometimes
full of blues
and its pretty bad

Found it in between my eyes one night gloating
but not glad
I find too often Im cross
when I've gone too far and said it all

I wanted to say that there was some sort of filter
but no sooner would I wilt
than share every secret
though more so spill

Did you know that coffee grounds are good for plants and land fills?

Instead of relying on this figment of my imagination

The strangest time of year
The time of year
With pretended love
And insincere gifts

With snow that never was in Bethlehem
And kids
Taught materialism

We claim

For the neighbor, family and friends

To food and shopping
And discomfort

For the roots are not rotten

Let's pretend -
Let's pretend that everything is okay as we
stitch ourselves up yet again;
smiling as we do it to fool our hearts into thinking
everything is okay -
for now,
Let's pretend it is.

There's a war on
inside me
Raging on
And I'm fighting.

that this war will not end in defeat

Everyone knows that convalescence turns to evanescence when heated bubbles rise with effervescence. It turns from shame with ease to blame and wraps back around conflicting and constricting your vein. About to burst and your worst thoughts inside will ride by the side taking every abide on their path to divide. This little lesson on entropy is no radical notion. But rather a fanatical description of raw emotion. Take a prescription and close the gate when you don't want to feel. Or be prepared for a lesson to kneel before genuine powers innate You can only reveal. The most important connections we make in this life will be tested over and again with an abundance of strife. Perfection is impossible, we can only try to flow. Our reflection is the garden that we will try to grow. It can only begin at a moment by planting a single seed. Reach out to someone feeling alone because truly we are all in need. Or try again with heart in hand and if you fear for wasted time...
