Throw away the writing pad and pencil
Chuck the lexicon in the bin
Just open up your minds
And let imagination just flood in

You don't need to ponder deepest thoughts
Will this be right or wrong
Just let your heart speak out the words
Just write that brand new song

Dont worry if its not quite right
Punctuation not in place
Spelling mistake a missing dot
Well **** that's no disgrace

Just write the words that fill your mind
And swamp your every sense
Throw away the rule book
Don't let your mind be bent
Time to say goodnight

I never had the privilege to know you well enough,
I never had a chance to meet you in person,
But I know you well enough,
To know that you've changed the lives of millions.

It takes real talent,
To be able to touch and alter,
The deepest, darkest,
Corners of the human mind.

Yet,
It's something you did almost effortlessly,
You showed us the power of the pen,
And the paper.

You may have left us,
But you will never be forgotten,
This is a promise.

If only you could see you, really see you.
If only you could step outside yourself and witness the person you truly are.
You would see the color in you.
The child in you.
The man in you.
The artist in you.
The musician in you.
The passion in you.
The leader in you.
The sincerity in you.
You would see the lover in you.
The awe in you.
The beauty in you.
The smarts in you.
The care in you.
The spirt in you.
If you could see you,
If you could see you, how I see you,
You would know how the spark of you touch feels with every embrace.
If you could see you,
How I see you,
You would discover a whole new version of fairytale
That begun with “Once Upon an April 19th”,
If you could see you,
How I see you,
You would know how when our eyes meet, I fall right back in love
Like it’s the first time.
If you could see you
You would see the snow in you
And the warmth you

You

You, in all of you
If you could see you,
Really see you
You would see how I see you
You would adore you
The true you
The true you I know
The true you I truly love

I'm writing this for me
To not let me forget
Everything I have
Everything I regret

Stick to the plan
keep your head up high
Things I've done!
Things I've left behind

Keepit real
and keepit fly
You know what you know
and so do I

I am to see to it that I never find you,
dear my stranger.
Because if what Steven Chbosky said was
indeed true,
"We accept the love we think we deserve."
Then, I sure do not believe I deserve you.
Just playing around with Walt Whitman's "To a stranger" and being inspired by the quote from "The perks of being a wallflower".

We're but a collection of monochrome films,
each it's own color.
Pixels on a screen,
giving life its big animated motion picture.

You are the absence of color in our cinema screen;
white.
I am the absorption or combination of all combined;
black.
So why then, when reflected through a prism your light
gives a rainbow?
It must be the light versus a color, without the light there is
no Technicolor.

We're but a composition of a continuous film,
and ensemble of the cinema of life.

are you still breathless?
the wind is caught in my throat,
and your words choke me.
this hurt.

It doesn't matter whether or not
the glass is half empty or half full.
what matters,
is the substance that is being poured out.
and who are we to say,
that a man can't walk on four legs.
Someday, our labour will turn to dust.
ashes.
The world still revolves,
and no one will wait for you.
The sun will rise in the east
and sets in the west,
whether or not you can get out of bed.
The time you spend dwelling on a matter that won't so much affect you in 10 years, will fly like dandelion seeds.
There is nothing romantic about how the sea will never stop kissing shore,
no matter how many times it is sent away.
If someone wants you in their life,
they'll tell you.

Native Intuition
Frigid, timid
frozen in time
Revealed
no longer concealed
this galaxy in full shine
I cannot continue to hide

Fire of the Sun
the lessons I must learn
Scars ever present
from the ferocity of the burn

Yet still
my blood it warms
Yet still
my world it turns

Locked in a lovers dance
and universally aligned
and the truth of it all
sends shivers
down my stardust spine.
