Golden rays falling down.
Mischievous,
Teasing,
Playful.
Yet also encouraging,
And feared.
Much like how a lover holds the heart
Captive.

*Today I feel like yellow.

Change...

a word with a world within
With the power to transform
Visions into victories
Opportunities into accomplishments

Some fear it; some resist it
But not us
We are a breed apart
We challenge the limits of action
We dare to explore new dimensions
And transform tomorrow
With courage and absolute conviction

We DREAM fearlessly,
BELIEVE resolutely
And ACT decisively

And when the odds are against us
We even it out by transforming
all we have & becoming who we are.

BE THE CHANGE

Broken angel wings, burning in the sky.
Little angel don’t you cry,
though your wings will never fly.
Broken body hits the ground.
Not a whimper, not a sound.
Clouds gather, gray and dull.
Their rain is like a breathless lull.
You’ve fallen now, your grace you’ve lost.
You fell in love, you paid the cost.
For love, you said, I’ll give my grace!
The tears are streaming down your face.
But you will live, safe from harm,
a human life, in the embrace of
loving human arms.

Sleek winding metal under my fingers
Squeaks at the tip of the frail hair
Subtle rattles of the pegs
Such a marvelous weapon I hold in my hands

Sweet cherry woods
Sings to me as I draw the bow like a
Sword
Swing, Pop, Rock, Classic
Such a marvelous weapon I hold in my hands

Stage lights make the details glitter
Sound resonates full and clear
Sharp and flat
Strong and proud
Such a marvelous weapon I hold in my hands

So I make this magic
Sad or joyous
Such a marvelous weapon I hold in my hands

You know those days
When someone tells you something
About yourself
That you should know
It is true,
But believe it is not?
Tears are dropped,
But not out of grief or despair.
Those precious moments when
You know for yourself
You are of worth,
That you are not what they call you,
That you are beautiful.

Thanks for giving me that moment.
One of my friends wrote the sweetest note to me, and it made me cry. He gave me hope and made me smile. Even though he doesn't know that I'm going through a rough patch, he has helped me in so many ways.

so is this the american dream, another child dead at fourteen
a victim of no self-confidence and an inability to understand
that tomorrow is not today
you are not your mistakes
pure
free
anything you needed to see,
that tomorrow is not today
you are not your mistakes
and if i could breathe you back i would
the youngest(oldest) child misunderstood
deserving to bloom, to grow through the cracks,
to make it to spring and sing
that tomorrow is not today
you are not your mistakes
but its far too late
and no matter how hard i scream these echoes wont carry you back to me
but i will carry your name close to my chest, for family, for friends to never part
to understand
that tomorrow is not today
you are not your mistakes
i hope my words whisper through these trees
and find you sweetly (softly)
and carry you as above as you've felt so beneath
a cleansing song
a solid soul
you are finally free to realize
that today is not tomorrow
and you are not your mistakes.

Do not stand at my grave and weep..
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awake in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft star-shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry..
I am not there. I did not die.
