You are still the first thing
on my mind
when I open my eyes
in the morning
when the birds chirping
in our used to be garden
You are still the last thing
I have on my mind
before I covers my face
and close my eyes
tossing and turning
on this king sized bed...
In between my sleep
You appear with your kindest smiles
Your dancing eyes
never left your handsome face
You are too vivid
How would I believe
that now everything is in past tense?

Evening
When the sun goes down
Just a little while
The day is coming to an end..
Birds flying to their nest..
People walking on the streets
heading homes..
Tired faces on their wheels
Endless Traffic jams till late night
The day is fading away...
Lethargic body and mind
Screaming for a hot bath
Super nice dinner
with loved ones
and a cozy bed with
the hottest sleeping partner...
Good night.. Good exercise..
The next hectic day
the daily routine starts again...

To Forget Something is Easy,
but losing Someone is Hard.

*© Pax
a quote - never compare someone to a thing, things are easily replace-able, close friends/family are not and it is the most hardest to forget when you lost them...

I'm sorry I was acting up today
For the first time in never,
I won't try justify myself with the right words to explain.
There's no expedient for my misery
I won't blame it on the troubles I encounter each day.

Yes, I'm drained.
I feel like my life is melting away
And there's nothing I can do to remain
There's so many people I'm tempted to blame

The poignancy is creeping in once again
I can hardly find the appropriate words to say
I shiver when melancholy utter my name
It giggles as I try to refrain

Everything to lose, nothing to gain
Everyone to go, no one to stay
I fear that my heart will be empty someday

I'll shy away from shame
I'll get through this lurid phase
For tomorrow is a brand new day.
I know I'll be okay.
There's always hope, there's always going to be hope.

Disclaimer:

These are my private opinions.
Feel more than free to disagree.
They've made Life better
For me.

Eat breakfast.
One half hour less of sleep in the
Morning will keep you
Steady and strong until lunch.
It'll be worth it.
Oatmeal packs a good punch.

Don't mention how little
You've slept to anyone.

Unless you operate dangerous
Machinery or rely on being
Rested for the safety of
Yourself or others, no one
Will care.

Map the different nationalities
At your workplace.
Learn these phrases in their
Respective languages:

Hello.
Great work.
Watch out!
Making someone feel welcome at
Work is a gift worth giving.
Bridges build
Friendships. Friendships alone
Make a life worth living.

Spend some money on a
Special water bottle.

It'll inspire you to drink from it.
Drink enough to keep hydrated;
Not so much that your
Breaks interfere with your
Obligations.
Don't challenge your rights,
Or your boss' patience.

Leave the toilet looking a little
Nicer than it was.

Pick up that piece of paper.
Wipe the soap from the sink.
Aim carefully.
Others will follow your example.
Ask for hand disinfectant.
Use it.

If you feel overwhelmed by
Stress, or have personal matters
Occupying your thoughts,
Take a toilet break.

It is one of the best places on Earth to
Clear your head. Take only
The time that
You need.
Even brilliant minds have
To act to succeed.

Enough on toilets.

Fall in love with a colleague.
Don't ever follow up on it.

Pick a favourite secretary or
Cleaning lady, janitor or
Security guard, etc.
That warm sensation in your chest
When you see them, might just
Make a bad day better.
Theirs too, when you
Smile their way.
Just remember:
Harassment is for the weak and
Insecure; a little attention never
Hurt anyone,
But don't push for more.
Keep it innocent.
Keep it pure.

Find your least favourite co-
Worker. Make friends.

Start rehearsing that 'old buddy'-
Feeling when you see them.
Say hello. Smile.
You'll be in for a surprise in most
Cases. Trust me, you will find
Golden graces. You'll get to love
Them; you'll look for their faces.

Turn to your seniors.
They are a tremendous resource.
They deserve to be needed.
They deserve your respect.
They know how to repair more
Than we ever will.
They know what it's like
To be younger than them.
They'll have time for your
Questions,
But none to ****.

Quit smoking. Together.
Go for a coffee break.
Go for a fruit break.
Go for a water break.
Together.
Pat each other on the shoulder
With every smoke you don't have.
Take the stairs. You'll feel so well.
Quit in pairs.
Not in a shell.

Put up humouristic posters,
Tell jokes, make
Friendly fun of each other.
Anything that provokes laughter.

Time will fly. Bonds grow stronger.
You'll look forward to work. You'll
Live happier; longer.

Do more than just enough.
You'll feel so much better about
Your skills. And others about you.
Any job is worth that little extra.
Few are worth doing twice.
Judge your efforts through
Your own eyes.

Be poetry. Don't just write it.
You'll need less ink and paper.
The art will live forever.
You'll be thankful for more.
You'll think higher of yourself.
You'll see the world around you
As the beautiful place it can be.
Be the poet and the poem.

You'll never feel depressed.
You will never be alone.
You'll be the single richest person
That you have ever known.

When you close your eyes
At the moment’s peak
Do you hear life’s lies
Whenever you try to speak
That demise you held on
That guilt you deny but prolong
You try to get out
But this weir will only make you drown

You try to shout
But nobody listen
The darkness subdues
You’re numb but not frozen

You let it in
The agony that you breathe
You mold it all in
Yearning for that rapture
Is that all you desire?
For that temporary bliss?

Not realizing you've fallen deep
*Into the unending abyss
Don't let it consume you.
You are better than this.
Addiction has its decisions.
Choose,
For better or for worse?
(Inspired by true events of my friends that passed on and the film Donnie Darko)

A bag in the attic, a shed tear?
Writing your dead mother?
witnessing a miracle? Forging through despite the thistles,
or cruising on a relatives legacy?
Drowning in a desert, making your fortune?
Raising a child to be like you or teaching
them justice?
Is hammering your head against the wall,
is that all? Or slitting your wrists
the gist? Cutting your hair, belong to the newest fad,
driving a BMW? Bad?
You hear the whispers, feel a touch on your cheek,
hold one another, help the weak?
Pet a dog, rescue a lost frog , feed a duck,
nurture nature, help one another.
Or make yourself whole, which ever way
shows you truly belong to the human race.

isn't it? It is never

There is beauty in simplicity
There is beauty in just loving
There is beauty in not knowing
There is beauty in just holding hands
There is beauty in sharing the same drink
There is beauty in being just unclad
There is beauty in just gazing at each other
There is beauty in drawing imaginary hearts
There is beauty in playing with her twitching nose
There is beauty in just running your hands through hair
There is beauty in sitting amidst nature, and counting stars
There is beauty in wishing upon a falling star
There is beauty in listening to each other’s heart beats
There is beauty in watching yourself in her eyes
There is beauty in kissing her twinkling eyes
There is beauty in having her head on your lap
There is beauty in watching her fall asleep
There is beauty in waking her up in the morning
There is beauty in touching her glowing skin
There is beauty in making her a cup of coffee
There is beauty in kissing her throughout the day
There is beauty in going for a walk, holding hands
There is beauty in soaking in each other’s silence
There is beauty in being in each other’s heart
There is beauty in just having her around
There is beauty in just thanking her with your love
There is beauty in being in love with all your heart
There is beauty in acknowledging her presence*
