Diary of the Damned
I know you may not love me
The same way I love you
But you needn't feel you have to
For your love to still be true
For me, it's still an honor
Just to feel this way at all
Without you, I feel nothing
And with you, I feel all

So please don't feel I'm wasting time
On something that can't be
When every moment spent with you
Helps me feel more like me
We don't have to be lovers
When the love we share as friends
Can help us feel so much like whole
So please, don't let this end

Nowhere that I've ever been
Has felt like home to me
Not one place I have lain my head
Has vanquished misery
It hasn't been the places
That have saved me from alone
With you, my friend, I've found my peace
With you, I feel I'm home

It doesn't have to be romance
In spending time with you
A pleasant conversation
Or an argument will do
The way we show we care
In everything we say and do
Making love isn't physical
It's each moment shared with you

So worry not that you don't feel
The same way that I do
For love can still exist in friendship
And still be pure and true
Not one moment is a waste
When you are close to me
With you, I do not feel alone
With you, I feel I'm free

Will you take my hand and boldly see
Just how our friendship grows?
Through good and bad
Through right and wrong
Through times we're hurting so
In sharing every heartache
Working through mistakes we make
Don't let this die
Don't say goodbye
With love as friends at stake

special to some
an angel to one
millions of stars
yet only one sun

comets do burn
travel fast and burn bright
but the sun is eternal
and so pure is it's light

I have always loved
the seemingly insignificant wrinkles
near someone’s eyes
the tiny lines
etched through skin
carving out lakes
and canyons of memories
filled with happiness
and laughter
water droplets
forming a canyon
from years of joyous tears
trails created
by a runner,
wonderful runner’s high,
adrenaline coursing through
his body
blazing trails
through the tiny lines
engraved like an epitaph
on a gravestone
reading:
her laugh was
and always will be
her most beautiful feature
laid upon her well worn face;
the unmistakable imprint
of a life filled with joy

I finally understand
"you're ****** if you don't and ****** if you do"
if you do what's best for you and that's all
you end up hurting those closest to you

you can please some people all the time
and all people some of the time
but you can't please everyone all the time
how true

****** if you don't and ****** if you do!

but it happened
and as i lay listening to your breaths
your words flow in my hear
i don't hear
with each ****** of mistaken passion
i look up at the stars on a night so cold
you said it was bound to occur
and so i stare into the mirror afterwards
not knowing who she is anymore
the lines in her face are obscured
clothing myself in guilt
inside i have already been crying
she's looking back at me
and i'll be ******

she is smiling

soulfully bound and lost we are
engaged in a sense of never
we've become blind at the thought of life
and have lost the vision of forever
you take my hand and kiss my world
a sight for sore hearts to see
interwoven far too deep to detach from beneath the roots of what was to be

Eyes

within eyes

within eyes

within eyes

within eyes

within eyes

within eyes

that do not see.
how we view the world, depends entirely on perception

They fear the night
because the scary things slink out
And hide in the darkness
Waiting

Myself, the day is far more dangerous
Because they don't have to hide
When they look just like us
When they are us
