Marrisa
He started this problem,
with me becoming the luggage,
always dragging behind him.
After he’s finished, I’m in storage.
I was folded in a neat square
and shoved at the bottom.
He forgot I was still there,
a back up just in case.
I was zipped up in darkness.
No available moving space.
His games were a sickness,
no place left but for his fun.
It was a constant reminder
that his playing was done
and he wasn’t any kinder.
I fell into his trap and now
there was no fighting back.

My insides are raging
Like my feelings are on fire
From my fingertips to my toes
Untempered, this flame will be dire

The way I see it now
Is that if I share my feelings
They can make me fly
But if I keep them to myself
My own fire might burn me
Until I die

I go up in a flash of flames
I'm afraid my feelings will burn me
They are so painful
I feel like I can't just be

So I fly with my flames
Instead of just fighting the truth and sitting
I share my light with the world
Instead of flames just licking and spitting

I resurrect from this hole
Like a Phoenix, I  light the sky
My flames turn darkness to light
So from fire, I fly*

Lady Misfortune
You know that feeling when you've faded away
When all your crayons are missing
And all the color drains
Your life is a monochrome mystery
Black and White memories imprinted to forever stay
You know that feeling when your hope leaves
And the burdens won't fly away
You know how it feels when time slows down
And you just block everything else out
Cause you're trying so hard to stay sane
You know that feeling when happiness is missing
But the movement of life takes its own way
You know when the light to your tunnel isn't visible
And all the mirrors are broken
Darkening the hue
You know when all guidance is slipping
And all you're sipping is misery
Do you know that feeling after,
When you can't feel a thing?
I haven't written in a long time and this poem it gives me a lot of relief bc while I love writing ... Sometimes I lose all motivation and inspiration.

We are a mere mortal
Two fates in a maze

Our love was hallowed by Eros
The blind, yet aimed his bow
Right through my essence
Right through your essence

Our passion was bound by Aphrodites
Two doves nesting
Two swans in Narcissus pond
Channeling the energy in our rite

Tragedy,
Mortal forbade the sacrament
We seek to endure the fall
Becoming stars,
As we cross one another
In an boundless interrior
Of our abode.
An undying love.

You are the moon and to everyone that matters, the constellation. They may seem absent but keep this in mind that they are always there -surrounding, evolving, moving around you. Yet just like you, they too feel sometimes, you are nowhere near from them.

Know that we are all the same, there are times when we shine and there are times when we don't. And when we don't it makes seeking present. We look around. Some even look back. And seeking is normal. Never put it in shame or fear for this is what makes us similar.

Like anyone else, we look up to the one shining for us at our darkest.

Mister J
Stay with me tonight
Lying down on the sand
While waves come and go
And the evening winds blow
The moon looking bright
And the stars blanketing the sky
The bonfire crackling slowly
Bringing warmth to our bodies
While you and I remain
Tangled in an embrace
Stealing kisses in between
You within my loving arms
Looking so precious to me
With your eyes twinkling
From the light of the dancing fires
And as you look up
It reflects the vast starry sky
Like a window to another plane
Another universe within you
It gets my mind thinking
How I want to know
Every single fact about you
Every single truth you know
And how I came to fall for you

I want you
To stay in my embrace
To kiss me gently
As I crave for more of you
In a cool tropical night
Drunk with each other's desire
Like its our last night together
Drowned in your beauty
Which turns me into a beast
As the night grows torrid
And my brain feels melted
From being touched by you
I want my every day
And every night
In this place
And at this time
With no worries
Just with you
Just like this
For the rest of our lives
Hey! You! Yeah you!
Thanks for reading!
Yay!

"My love for you is indefatigability,
Yet you decline to notice this,
My love please delve into my soul,
My heart my person awaits that you do,

I wish to never say adieu to you,
I hope and pray you feel the same,
Although it seems this is not the issue,
Is this the now cessation of our love,

I believe that you have been contrived
To feel me within your grasp,
To taste your lips upon mine,
Have I now been forsaken to lose you?

I notice that your love has exacerbate,
The nuances of your actions
Your once risible ways have gone,
I have never had such enchantment,

Or has this been some romantic delusion,
A dream perhaps this I can bare,
But to have held you in my arms,
And then to lose such would have been,
A STRATAGEM"

In my world, you are my light.
Without your smile, you still make it bright.
That’s why, each day is another fight,
trying to make this feeling right.

Such a voice invoked the muse
And the muse was what gave life
I miss that deep sense of a lost belonging
Now I am in belonging to that realm I once ruled
With an iron fist, I controled it
In the deepest depths of my innermost being

My insides are constantly convulsing
They are humming to me my chagrin
And the voids that occupy the nuclei of my atoms
I tremble like a bell, being a hollow shell
And sounding other cries for help in this place.
Where are we in the place of the bells
How hollow are the voids that make up our cells.

The secrets of a snowflake
catch our eye
as it glistens past a reflected shard of moonlight
the wind off a butterfly wing
catch our ear
as it glides towards its destination
exhilerating coolness as the Sun rises
pushing night air to earth

lasting sound and image
like my child's first breath
these are the gifts given us
alongside the torment we must endure
we the poets
seekers of life at emotions pinnacle
surveyors of every energy
joy or sadness

in the fray
we are watching you
