Idiosyncrasy
I love the night sky
Dark but not empty
Mysterious and deep
I don’t want the starlight
Cold and far away
Bright like hope
Like empty promises

A streak of starlight came
I hated starlight more
But I realized
Starlight makes me see
Through the deep dark sky
I hated it no more
It’s your dream to be reached
It’s the fulfillment not hope.

My world is not of the written word
It cannot be numbered
held captive on a so called page

My world is liquid
as sea , rain , snow or ice
It can be hot , cold , or entice

My world is cloudy
It thunders after it flashes light
My world is wrong , my world is right

There are no words that bind my life
I won't be delegated
to exist in the black on white

I will not be staved
by the limited sways
of the written words upon the page

Today the sky stands still
a big blue statement
deeper than all thought
- deeper than all oceans

The cold of winter hung around my bones,
even still, as Summer sung her first songs
I dwelt amongst the dreaming snows-
of yesterdays nights drawn tight around the months.
Light finally had her say and
long now I do play a full days dreamy ways.
The appearance of love in bird song, the flight of a Seagull,
and Summer has finally won my hearts love.
As I sing to her along with the chirping sparrows
I swoon and delight with each new leaf sprung
tree growth and grass cut, the blooming of ringing bluebells
all in time with the Cuckoo, Cuckoo of returning Summer long
longed for, in a heart made for song.

When we were far
and very young, in a place with no roads to follow
only a winding path, a branch to grasp
a place to fill the hollow

Blue the summer, with drowsy daisies came
petals, petals, we drew circles round the sun
gold spun, our halo heads of pollen
gold the bees of sleepy flowers
amid clover grass heaven

Days we lived deep in hills
we were endless green, in unmapped countries
stretching past the farms afield, in other worlds
too far to see, we lived beyond the gray of days
and we were free, in the shining silver
of our hallowed hills of ever.

the stars do not shine
loneliness presses the air
into a tangle of last years withered
leaves,
loneliness in summer leaves
that whisper to a grey moon
a song of regret.

ii.

dreams of midnight,
cool rain,
songs more alive
than this low-roofed night.

iii.

teardrops like the ghostly moon, lost
against the heart that
flutters like a dark sky
breathing stars.

iv.

the mottled horizon
pools into greys,
tender eyed with
soft sadness,

in these dim hours when silence
cloaks the woods and
human laughter disappears

we sink against the softer sky
and the slow fade of moon and
long for dream, for everything
to reawaken and unwind.

we are swimmers heading as far
out as we can get. surreal silver
stars, opening like flowers,
refusing to drown.

White boulders
laying side by side
on the Mad River
incline
at low tide.

Boulders breathing
sliding heaving into
the waters currents,
Inquisitive
black eyed faces
with
perpetual smiles,
Maybe they're just built
that way.

Babies crying their mother's name,
But only the River
hears their call
until mothers
as they usually do
return
to nourish their off spring too.

One day not far away
these babies cries
go quiet.

Sand banks fall into the river
the only sound
as the tide
starts flowing back on in.

The ocean one way,
The river the other,
Converging at the mouth,
the two mingle
singing to each other,
Ocean waves
River currents
as the tide changes
from in to out
somehow just like life itself.

One day not to far away
boulders slide
moving into the water
without a mommy cry,
The Mad River
by their side
or
immersed
in the comings and goings
of the tides
sleeping
white boulders
side by side,
Barking from time to time.

is the gathering streams

that swell and please.

Thunder and pain,
Feeling the rain.
Waiting for salvation,
In a night of starvation.
Brightening the dark sky,
The lightning, fly by.
Why i so feel?
It will make me heal.
Giving self a justification,
For every piece of action.
If it is wrong or right,
Who is to decide?
There is nothing to gain,
Life will eventually drain.
In the moment of despair,
Let hope, make it repair.
Like a thunder in the clouds,
Break through every bounds.
Like the sound of the light,
Keep the zeal to fight.
Your thirst will be quenched,
Thunder will give you the strength...
Taste the moon, my friend

listen it will sing at night

a generous portion of love

with dark colored  sun filled glass

causes this somber sad expression

fills this anguish of mine

to melt my tears of hate....

Let me feel the moon in my bones

behind my wounded heart of mine

a ballad, oh moon, you do sing

from the deepest part of my mind

harbors past missed opportunities

of events through my lifetime~

The moon is raining my tears at night

feeling the sadness of many a years

bounds to my very soul

to take my pain of the disturbed peace.....

The world has gone mad

my life is your equalizing song

rain moon rain, with all your might

Let me radiate in your light....

Let's taste the moon tonight...
