Gentle whispers on a breezy eve
Past the amber trees and leaves
In the cloudless meadow by the brook
Planted firmly inside a hollowed nook
It’s there I dare to seek out dreams
And eye the fish that swim upstream
I watch in awe
As they persevere
And reflect on all I hold most dear

I know they look like sunrises and sunsets, but I was painting you.
When I painted all the rivers that lead to the oceans, and the glorious starry nights, and the flowers; the sublime orchids and the tender roses.
In the end
and from the beginning,
I was painting you.

full of light is the sun

when bowing down

behind the hills

where feathery flowers

wait for burning its gold

waves of colours faint

in the evening light

and hope scents

the land growing wild

in the flushing breeze

dancing each stem

in its own delicacy

I held the moon

And knew immortality

I traded all my unforsaken days

To move within the eternal orbit of her night

To eclipse death

Yet here then the gap narrowed

Carve your own path
and be yourself

Broke through the dark
by wounding one of its own

La luna lone

Made a hole in the heart
of my midnight

Bleeding out acetylene light

Grief is the haze

A mist shrouding reality
within these closing days
