I fall asleep
to the sound of my own voice
murmuring twisted thoughts
into the spaces
in my brain
We are all silhouettes
Wrapped in the tapestry
Of a blooming night
Outlines etched messily
Into a cotton wool sky
Beautifully imperfect
A stray wisp illuminates
Sings sweet like our
Honey bee laughs
We smile, always
Endlessly sunshine yellow
For here we are youth
Wild like dandelions
Rebelling against being
A common flower
We paint the word ****
In shining glitter
Send it to outer space in
A paper airplane
Then dance on crazily
Like the night is infinite
Dreaming for a forever
Something a bit different
If i could will my heart to stop
and breathe a final breath
i'd sit beneath an old oak tree
and trade my life for death

The pain in life of losing you
is more than i can bear
how can a man be happy when
his better half's not there

Life's meaning's gone when i lost you
no purpose can i find
for you were but the reason i
loved life and cherished time

i cannot will my heart to stop
i'm waiting for the sign
from God to show His mercy to
unite us one more time
I wrote this after my wife, Charlene (Char), passed away a few months ago. My world was and is destroyed. Take advantage of pain and turn it into beauty.

Drab morning
Bruised sky

Desert girl
Blacked out
Head to toe

Drops of bitter
Rain soak
Deserted clothing

As she

Cries behind
The veil

Paper tongues on the blacktops surface

Canary bulbs falling from skeletal branches

Individual sunrises growing in constellation patches

Sweetened breath blowing around our heads

Golden nests being towed along slowly

Crystal mirrors dotting the surface of peaceful windows

Frigid blankets stiffing early morning grasses
Fall has always been my favorite season. This is just a small insight on how I view this time of year ❤️

Relaxed, Intertwined, feeling rather free,
Glee emotion in your eyes, give me peace.
Kicking my feet, drinking morning coffee,
as you gaze at me like a masterpiece.

Tints of crimson always filling my cheeks,
The past, it hurts, but my future is green.
I had felt like many dusty antiques,
you didn't, filling my heart like a marine.

Indescribable, Irreplaceable,
Many say as they manipulate me.
Undesired, I became replaceable,
Not by the writer who lives oversea.

He makes me relaxed, his arms around me,
He tells my worth, I begin to agree.
This poem is based on the factor that I used to not be fond of love; I used to be terrified of it because I knew I LOVED love. I lost my first love and it hurt me like a thorn and became numb to emotion and hurt by the world.

Soon enough time passes and I meet someone new, he wasn't like him but a lot better and tells me my worth; I think it was sad, how hurt I was when my 'first love' wasn't love since I was doing all the work.

So now that someone loves me and I begin to love him, I feel my heart blossom, re-open and start to feel vulnerable and free.

Here's to loving again.

"Promise" has 7 letters.

So does:
"Moved on"

But, I have a 7 letter promise to you:
"I'll wait"
Seven is my lucky number. I hope this promise will be lucky enough to be true.
