The most elegantly turned out beast
that in two legs roams in my part of urban forest,
with such impeccable taste and a heart
                                  brimming with prurient thoughts, transmitted
with the beat of brows, two bows,cannot be any other;
I am in a poetic elation, at this moment of
thunder strike in my center of amour, as I watch your
                                  rambunctious locomotion, intently from behind.

Aspen
you shoved flowers in
my ears and told me
to listen closely as
though forcing
the good in
will efface
the bad
Then dark with dripping blood it gave a howl
and cried again: 'Our damaged branches ache!
Your pillage maims me! Can't you feel at all?

We who were men are now this barren brake.
You'd grant us your respect and stay your hand
were we a thicket not of souls but snakes.'

As wood still green starts burning at one end
and from its unlit end the burning stick
drips sap, and hisses with escaping wind,

so from the broken stump there oozed a mix
of words and blood: a frothy babbling gore.
I dropped the branch. My fear had made me sick.

'Poor wounded soul, could he have grasped before,'
my sage replied, 'what now he sees is true,
and blindly trusted in poetic lore,

then he need not have so insulted you.
But as there was no other way to learn
I urged him to a test that grieved me too.

Tell us who you were, that he, in turn,
can set your honor freshly back in style
among those he will teach when he returns.'

The trunk: 'Your speech, by raising hope that I'll
regain repute, makes words arise in me.
I mean to talk, if you will stay a while:

I was the one entrusted with the keys
to Federigo's mind, and it was sweet
to share his thought and guard his strategy

for noble ventures secret in my keep —
so faithfully I filled this glorious post,
I gladly sacrificed my health and sleep...'
When the chips are down the road always bends
Where are they now my fairweather friends?

Estranged and torn, forlorn in the wind

Hopeless and alone all I remember whom I've helped win

Now it's my turn but it seems they all ran out once again

Religion has lied my faith has grown dim
The country I was born gave in to the devil the playing field is not level

I can't afford to live, the prices too high
Where do I go to lay down and die?

Who are they, where are they now?
I love anagrams as they speak the satirical truth

(I know tons of anagrams)

E.g.

Here is a great example of how anagrams work for say making a person younger if overweight.

1
A pirate says Yo ** **, then drinks ***, so avoid ***** it makes us older and fatter, right? He becomes an old fatty pirate right? Angry grumpy nasty etc...

2
Magellan was a pirate in search of the fountain of youth, right?

3
Watch this magic anagram

Yo ** ** tune unfit fat

=

The fountain of youth

I am good at anagrams
Margarita...
Just over the border line
Count her in tequila time
With a second hand squeeze of lime

Margarita...
With the slightest of accents
Just enough to wonder what she meant
Takes back all the time you've spent

Margarita...
Comes to you with the blood shot eyes
Enough to make a grown man cry
With the feeling they've up and died

Margarita...
Mariachi music playing on the wind
Wake up with all your money spent
If your not broke at least your half bent

Margarita...
When will her madness end
there are three blood stains on our sheets
in the shape of various european countries
and there is a dying white rose you bought me
last tuesday when i called in sick

it sits on the dresser, strangled by baby's breath
a single window, broken blinds
shoes tripped over every morning

when you stumble out of bed to go to class
and i stay and bask in the glow of your empty space in the mattress
wood floor scratched by broken glass
tubes of lipstick half-melted in august sun

the tv where we turned on carrie on a sticky summer night
and lay on top of the sheets
and couldn't remember how it ended

this is the room where i fell in love with you
I'll *******
if you want
because I want it too
I want your hot breath on my neck
as you come closer to me in the middle of the night
or day
I want the stubble of your chin on my thighs
when you explore my body
I want pressure between our hips
as we toss and turn in the sheets
playfully
violently
silently
And when it's done
I'll tell you 'I love you'
but you don't need to reply
even though I know you will
Just nudge me with your nose
or graze me with you fingers
*(inspired by elbows and knees)*
